Delilah Rosario and Bay View High School

Delilah Rosario had enough of the chaos at Bay View High School in Milwaukee.

She pulled all three of her kids out of the school, considering it an unfit environment.

From TMJ4:

Delilah Rosario has pulled all her three children out of Bay View High School.

She says she went to the school Thursday, to check on her son who was being bullied.

Rosario told TODAY'S TMJ4, "His school supplies were being taken from him. His sharpeners were being taken and broken apart so they could take the blade out of the sharpener."

Rosario says when she arrived at the school she also decided to check on her daughter, and was shocked by a disturbance in the cafeteria. "And when I went downstairs and sat with her there was a big old riot. Garbage cans were being thrown all over the place. Food was being thrown all over the place. And I had to cover my daughter up for her safety and heard my daughter scream at me... ‘Get me out of here, get me out of here.’"

...[T]he food fight came just one day after police were called to Bay View and the school was put on lockdown after students were fighting.

This is disgraceful.

It's totally understandable that parents want something better for their children.

Milwaukee could use a lot more parents like Delilah Rosario, willing to become involved and take action.

Bay View wasn't always such an out of control, dangerous place. It was a good neighborhood school that educated students in a safe atmosphere.

That's ancient history - a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

Very, very sad.
