Joe Biden: Rape and the GOP

Joe Biden continues to exploit rape in his discussion of Republican opposition to Obama's jobs bill.

He won't back down from his declaration that without Obama's Stimulus II there will be more rapes, murders, and burglaries; and Republicans will be responsible for the increase in crimes.

Tough guy Biden is trying to appear in control.

With his finger in Mattera's face, Biden orders, "Don't screw around with me."

Biden is trying to intimidate. He's acting like a union thug.

Vice presidents shouldn't behave that way.

To frighten people into thinking their physical safety depends on the passage of Obama's latest stimulus is unconscionable.

JOE BIDEN: In many cities, the result has been - and it's not unique - murder rates are up, robberies are up, rapes are up. And folks, there's a simple reason for it. There's been a perfect storm out there. These God-awful Ponzi schemes that the last outfit allowed Wall Street to engage in, resulted in this gigantic collapse of the financial industry.

Housing - the bottom fell out, foreclosures increased, particularly in poorer neighborhoods. Abandoned homes are created, drug lords move in, arson increases, budgets fall because the property taxes fall, cops and firefighters get laid off, response times increase from 5 minutes to 30 minutes and people die and people's homes burn to the ground.

So Biden is trying to blame the mess the country is in on "the last outfit."

The Democrats won control of the House and Senate in November 2006.

When Obama took office, he had both houses of Congress.

Republicans didn't have the numbers to stop them from enacting whatever legislation they wanted.

Biden makes it sound as if the Obama administration hasn't been at the helm for nearly three years. He ignores the reality that Democrats should accept responsibility for what they did and did not do.

This no accountability stuff is BS.
