Obama Jobs Bill Defeated in Senate

Obama must feel very unloved.

"If you love me, you got to help me pass this bill."

From the Associated Press:

Senate Republicans have voted to kill the White House jobs bill despite weeks of campaign-style barnstorming by President Barack Obama across the country.

Forty-six Republicans joined with two Democrats to filibuster the $447 billion plan.

That vote was not final. The roll call was kept open Tuesday night to allow Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H. to vote. But it would have taken 60 votes in the 100-member Senate to keep the legislation alive.

Why say the Republicans have killed the bill?

The Republicans don't have the numbers to kill it.

Sixty votes are needed to keep Obama's bill alive.

The Republicans can't be responsible for its death.

It's the Democrats. Blame the Dems.

The media have turned into a bunch of liars and propagandists. It is no wonder corruption is running rampant. People are lining their pockets with millions and millions of dollars and laughing their butts off all while the media runs cover for them. Never in my lifetime have I ever seen such a mess. These guys make W and his cronies look like pikers.
