'Cracker Counties' North Florida

Whoa!

During MSNBC's discussion of today's primary in Florida, Jonathan Martin of Politico referred to the panhandle and northern areas of the state as "Cracker Counties."

Chuck Todd had no problem with that.

Yeah, "Cracker Counties."

No one is bothered by that derogatory racial term. Everything's cool.

Offensive?

Nooooooo.

JONATHAN MARTIN: Chuck, one last thing on the map if I could -- the other reason why north Florida is gonna be fascinating to watch tonight is because it's gonna give us a sense of what's ahead in March when this primary does move to deep south states. Because as you know, Chuck, a lot of those counties in the panhandle, in north Florida, the 'Cracker Counties,' if you will, more resemble Georgia and Alabama, than they do Florida.

Will Martin be yanked off the air for this?

Will he be suspended?
