Scott Walker's Accomplishments

Scott Walker was inaugurated governor of Wisconsin on January 3, 2011.

While Big Labor, the White House, and other Leftists such as the union minions, and anarchists used all their might to derail Walker, he accomplished a great deal to better Wisconsin.

Governor Walker writes:

2011 brought bold and positive change to our state:
We balanced Wisconsin's $3.6 billion deficit on time, without the billions in tax increases or massive layoffs seen in other states.

Because of our reforms, state and local governments have already saved over $848 million.

School districts now have the ability to hire and fire based on merit and pay for performance - keeping the best and brightest teaching our kids and grandkids.

Wisconsin saw a decrease in statewide school property taxes for the first time since 2006.

We added $1.2 billion to Medicaid programs to ensure aid for our most vulnerable citizens.

We expanded school choice programs to the Racine community, giving disadvantaged children more opportunities to excel.

These are just some of the things that we have done to make Wisconsin a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Yes, Scott Walker has had a successful first year in office.

Without question, we did the right thing when we elected him to be our governor in November of 2010.

If it comes to that, we'll do it again in 2012.
