Lynn Kristensen Defeated in Landslide

Lynn Kristensen (aka "Lynn Kirstense") won't have to hide her political leanings from constituents anymore.

No more lying to constituents about signing the petition to recall Scott Walker. No more explaining why she misspelled her name exactly the same way on the Walker petition and a petition to recall Alberta Darling.

The incumbent, she lost in the election for the Menomonee Falls seat on the School Board. She lost big. She lost in a landslide.

From Sussex Patch:

Hamilton School Board member Lynn Kristensen, who came under fire for incorrectly spelling her name on a petition to recall Gov. Scott Walker, lost handily in her bid for re-election Tuesday.

Final unofficial results show that challenger Brian Schneider defeated Kristensen by 3,295 to 1,573 — taking 68 percent of the votes cast in the race for the Menomonee Falls seat on the School Board.

Results show Schneider outpolling Kristensen, who has been on the board since 2006, in each of the six communities that make up the Hamilton School District.

In Sussex, 71 percent of the votes cast were for Schneider; in Menomonee Falls, it was was 65 percent.

I don't know if Kristensen/Kirstense would have been defeated by Schneider had her lies not been revealed.

I don't know if as the incumbent she already was in trouble and was at risk of losing the election.

What's certain is that Kristensen/Kirstense lost in a landslide.

That's a very good thing.
