Michelle Williams, community organizer and chief of staff for the New Black Panther Party, is so sorry.
She went on a terrible, hate-filled, racist rant.
MICHELLE WILLIAMS: Let me tell you, the things that's about to happen, to these honkeys, these crackers, these pigs, these pink people, these ---- people. It has been long overdue. My prize right now this evening ... is gonna be the bounty, the arrest, dead or alive, for George Zimmerman. You feel me?
Yeah, I feel you and your "dead or alive" bounty on Zimmerman.
Why haven't these people been charged?
Here's video of Williams' blubbering apology, as well as the audio of her crazed, racist rant:
Williams was being interviewed. She knew her comments were on the record, yet she went on and on, spewing racial slurs.
A tearful apology by her is not enough.
Rush Limbaugh was pummeled for weeks for what he said on the radio. As offensive as his remarks were, they were nothing compared to what Williams said.
I don't think Williams' words should be forgiven and certainly not forgotten. The reality is she articulates the views of the New Black Panthers perfectly.
We've heard that sort of talk again and again from them. Spare me the crocodile tears.
If the Republicans played like the Democrats, they would be circulating Williams' comments in fundraising emails the way the Dems did when they exploited Limbaugh's words.
Instead of the "War on Women," the Republicans should talk about Obama and his "War on Honkeys, Crackers, Pigs, Pink People" and hype that.
That, of course, never would and never should happen.
It would be wrong, just as the Democrats' "War on Women" plan was wrong.
One more thing, about George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin:
Enough. It's crazy that so much national attention is being paid to the story.
Now that Zimmerman has been charged, I want him to receive a fair trial. I want justice, for everyone involved in the case.
I want justice for everyone involved in the thousands of cases of killings in this country that will never receive anywhere near the same amount of media.
This Trayvon Martin - George Zimmerman circus is all politics.
Everyone exploiting it for personal political and financial gain should be ashamed, especially Obama.
