Walker - Barrett Debate

Oh, my God.

We're only a few minutes into the gubernatorial debate, and Tom Barrett looks like he's going to explode.

His demeanor is HORRIBLE.

Barrett is behaving so badly, he makes Richard Nixon's debate performance against John Kennedy look great.

Scott Walker appears calm and confident, whereas Barrett is angry and twitching and spitting out his words.

It's really amazing.

I expected Barrett to be aggressive, but this is creepy.

Throughout this recall process, the Democrats have been about anger. They're lashing out.

Barrett is making me nervous. He's so angry. He really needs to take it down a notch.

"John Doe criminal investigation." "Rock star." "Civil war." "Divide and conquer." "Secret emails."

Barrett is embarrassing himself.

Wow.

Governor Walker is the polar opposite of Barrett.

Walker is coming off like a leader. He's in control. Barrett, on the other hand, seems like he's not capable of more than standing on the steps of the Capitol blowing a vuvuzela.

I don't know what debate you were watching but it was a slam dunk for Barrett, he was great! Really made great point and clearly told that Wisconsin still has a 3 billion $ deficit and has lost jobs, in fact it's DEAD LAST IN JOB CREATION.....Fact Check it....Barret did a great job, he was informed, sincere and really is the man to help the Wisconsin people not his personal career.

Barrett was unhinged.

No gravitas.

I totally agree with you. And calling Governor Walker "Scott" all night was sophomoric.

I heard some pundits say both candidates did well.

They couldn't have been watching the debate I saw.

Barrett clearly lost on both style and substance.

Loved Barrett's comment that Walker won with 52% but acted like it was 92%. Walker and the fitzgeralds have happily driven a wedge into Wisconsin. Time for new leadership.

Liberals are so used to behaving like Tom Barrett--boorish, whiny, illogical--that they can't recognize it. That's why they're still under the illusion that the rest of the state still supports their ridiculous temper tantrum.

The first time I ever heard Tom Barrett speak was during the 2010 election and I'm still amazed at how much he sounds like an old woman. Put a bonnet on his head and a pair of bloomers and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

In 10 days this is over one way or another, but if Tom Barrett wins, prepare to see a mass exodus of business and even individuals from the state.
