This article by Steve Schultze of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is PATHETIC.
Responding to claims they had leaked information on the John Doe investigation involving some of Gov. Scott Walker's aides, Milwaukee County prosecutors say two of the leaks came from attorneys for one of the defendants.
Michael Maistelman, a lawyer for defendant Timothy Russell, sent an email to radio talk show host Charlie Sykes on Jan. 22, tipping off Sykes to the likelihood that two other former Walker aides would be charged that week. Those aides, Darlene Wink and Kelly Rindfleisch, were charged four days later on Jan. 26.
...Sykes and other backers of the Republican governor have accused prosecutors of illegally leaking information on the Doe investigation, which was launched more than two years ago.
Assistant District Attorney Bruce Landgraf says in a filing in the Russell case that it was remarkable Russell's lawyers had complained of a "not-so-secret" John Doe investigation when they disclosed information themselves.
This is not reporting. It's a press release. Schultze is doing the bidding of Landgraf and John Chisholm's office.
To discuss the deluge of leaks from the John Doe investigation and only focus on a measly email is absurd.
Dan Bice and the Journal Sentinel have disseminated loads of "secret" information from the investigation. Let's hear about their sources.
Good grief, how ridiculous!
Furthermore, maybe some critics have accused PROSECUTORS as being the feeders of Bice's info pipeline, but it's inaccurate to say Charlie Sykes has accused prosecutors of illegally leaking.
This article is silly. It's just so much flailing.
Write something about Bice's sources, Schultze. Tell us all about it. That would be newsworthy. Who broke the law?
And meanwhile, Graeme Zielinski continues to flip out on Twitter, making comments that are equally bizarre and disgusting.
I worry about him. Does he have a drinking or substance abuse problem? I ask that with all sincerity. His behavior is so unprofessional and anti-social. I find it concerning.
