"What's it like to have your son back home?" asked WISN 12 News reporter Caroline Reinwald.

"It's a really good feeling, it was an exciting day. There were tears, but happy tears today," Tiegs said. "He actually walked 12-feet today with the walker."

Tiegs had his eyes set on a college baseball career. He's a pitcher and outfielder for his high school team and made the Waukesha Stix Academy, where he planned on playing travel ball around the country this summer.

Tiegs said it all depends on how Erick does in physical therapy, to decide if he will play ball again.

Erick suffered many serious injuries, including a C4 spinal fracture, five broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a fractured skull and a broken femur.

Darrell Brooks did this. This 16-year-old went to a Christmas parade and his life completely changed. Thank God he survived.

Because of John Chisholm's dangerous, reckless, radical policies, career criminal Brooks was free to kill 6 people and injure dozens of others, like Erick.

It's right to blame Chisholm for his role in permitting Brooks to commit mass murder and injury, devastating families.

God be with all those grieving and suffering because Brooks chose to disregard the law and show no respect for innocent human life. Praying for all those hurt by Chisholm's failure to keep Brooks off the streets.

The country is getting to know what a terrible DA John Chisholm is. They're seeing the consequences of his Leftist policies. Even Chisholm foresaw the tragedy he was unleashing on the community by freeing criminals.

“Is there going to be an individual I divert, or I put into treatment program, who’s going to go out and kill somebody?” John Chisholm said in a 2007 interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “You bet. Guaranteed. It’s guaranteed to happen. It does not invalidate the overall approach.”

I want Chisholm to say this to the grieving families. I want Chisholm to go the hospitals where the injured are clinging to life and tell their families this.

Does Chisholm still believe in his approach? He should tell the families of the dead and the innocent people suffering because of his policies that his overall approach has not been invalidated.

A criminal complaint in the case reveals chilling details of the deadly vehicular attack, with cops reporting that Brooks “had no emotion on his face” as he drove through the crowded parade route.

Two officers tried to stop the SUV, yelling and in one instance banging on the hood, only to be thrown aside by the vehicle, the complaint said.

One cop said he “heard tires squeal” as the vehicle turned into the crowd.

“At this point, it was clear to Officer (Bryce) Butryn that this was an intentional act to strike and hurt as many people as possible,” the complaint said.

Darrell Brooks intentionally tried to strike and hurt as many people as possible. He murdered six, including an 8-year-old little boy.

It should not have taken this horrific mass murder to get Brooks off the streets. Now, if justice is served, he'll spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Those responsible for allowing this dangerous, evil man to harm all these innocent people must be held accountable as well.

WI Supreme Court Stops John Chisholm John Doe Investigation

It's finally over.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has put an end to John Chisholm's witch hunt.

Chisholm's disgraceful investigation is done.

Justice Michael Gableman writes, "To be clear, this conclusion ends the John Doe investigation because the special prosecutor's legal theory is unsupported in either reason or law. Consequently, the investigation is closed."

Yes, that's clear.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court put an end to the John Doe investigation with a 4-2 ruling that was issued early Thursday morning.

The investigation that was officially quashed by the state's highest court had been called a political witch-hunt by Gov. Scott Walker and others that were targeted by Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm. The multi-year investigation, which looked into the possible coordination between the governor and independent conservative organizations during the recall elections, did not lead to any charges being filed.

That did not, however, stop the continuous leaks from the otherwise secret probe. Many of the documents that surfaced were pounced on by left-leaning organizations - and sometimes the mainstream media - in an attempt to make the victims look bad in the court of public opinion.

As prosecutors tried to claim that Walker was at the center of a national "criminal scheme," they routinely failed to prove their claim at the different levels of court.

Walker's campaign said on Thursday that the Supreme Court's decision was further - and final - proof that no one broke any laws.

"It is time to move past this unwarranted investigation that has cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars," said Ashlee Strong, Walker campaign spokeswoman.

The decision is also a major victory for Eric O'Keefe's group, Wisconsin Club for Growth. O'Keefe and his organization won a lawsuit in federal court after arguing the investigation violated their civil rights. That case was overturned on appeal because the judges felt it was a matter to be decided by the state court.

As of Thursday, that matter was finally decided by the state Supreme Court. All documents and other materials from the probe were ordered to be destroyed.

"We order that the special prosecutor and the district attorneys involved in this investigation must cease all activities related to the investigation, return all property seized in the investigation from any individual or organization, and permanently destroy all copies of information and other materials obtained through the investigation. All Unnamed Movants are relieved of any duty to cooperate further with the investigation," Justice Michael Gableman wrote in his opinion.

I hope the victims of Chisholm's "paramilitary, predawn raids" and other abuses drag him and his crew into court.

Chisholm's career should be destroyed along with "all copies of information and other materials" obtained by his investigation.

Officially stopping this "John Doe" should be the beginning.

I hope every single person with their fingerprints on the investigation gets sued up the wazoo.

It's called justice.

The abuse by John Chisholm is a national disgrace and deserves the national attention it's receiving.

..."Why would a prosecutor lie? Why would a prosecutor say somebody's guilty if they're not? They don't have time to waste on this. There are too many guilty people to go get to waste time on the innocent." The innocent in Wisconsin were guilty because they were conservative. The left in Wisconsin was losing everything. They were losing their union domination and control. Scott Walker was decimating all the systems they had put in place.

They literally lashed out in panic, anger, and you name it to punish people who had voted for Walker, who had raised money for him, who they thought had voted for him. It was the kind of thing that Vladimir Putin does and we all laugh about because that's what we expect in a tyrannical dictatorship like the Soviet Union or Russia. We find out that it can happen here and has happened here, and there was no mechanism to stop it. The prosecutor's name is Chisholm, John Chisholm, and I hope his name is never forgotten.

Nate Hamilton: Streetcar Ad

Nate Hamilton, Dontre Hamilton's brother, is featured in a radio ad targeting Milwaukee's streetcar project.

We know that Nate Hamilton doesn't mince words. Remember when he declared, "We need to protect our own communities ... so we can get rid of these pigs that kill us"?

Referring to the police as "pigs," just after the two officers were gunned down in New York, was not smart.

While Hamilton isn't as vicious in his streetcar ad, not suggesting lashing out violently, he does take aim at Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and District Attorney John Chisholm and Milwaukee aldermen.

"This is Nate Hamilton. My brother Dontre Hamilton was shot 14 times by a Milwaukee police officer; once in the back. It was ruled a homicide in police custody. He was only resting in a downtown park.

"For over 235 days, Mayor Barrett and DA Chisholm dodged our calls for justice. Funny how Tom Barrett's precious trolley gets the fast track and so many of our aldermen and the beautiful people downtown are ramming this down our throats, yet justice for our people is at a standstill.

"I'm calling out Aldermen (Milele) Coggs, (Ashanti) Hamilton, (Russell) Stamper, (Willie) Wade, (Jose) Perez, (Robert) Puente and (Nik) Kovac. Let's make this a teaching moment for Tom Barrett, John Chisholm and the business elite who don't give a damn about our rights and could care less about our people.

"Mayor Barrett's precious trolley symbolizes how our community is treated and represents government sanctions, racial oppression and the continued segregation of our downtown. The trolley's key supporter, Ald. Bob Bauman, has even admitted this project doesn't even benefit the minority community.

I find it difficult to join forces with Nate Hamilton, because of his anti-police agenda.

However, when it comes to Milwaukee's idiotic trolley project, I agree with him.

John Chisholm and Dontre Hamilton : No Criminal Charges

It was obvious that John Chisholm was going to announce that he would seek no criminal charges against Officer Christopher Manney for the shooting of Dontre Hamilton.

Today, he finally did.

The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office released a report on Monday morning, December 22nd that indicates former Milwaukee Police Officer Christopher Manney‘s “use of force” in the shooting death of 31-year-old Dontre Hamilton was “justified self-defense and that defense cannot be reasonably overcome to establish a basis to charge Officer Manney with a crime.”

On April 30th, Hamilton was sleeping in Red Arrow Park. Then-Officer Christopher Manney was performing a welfare check, and police say Hamilton grabbed Manney’s baton and struck him with it. That’s when Christopher Manney opened fire, shooting Hamilton 14 times.

Local media seem to be waiting for the city to explode.

I'm glad I don't have tickets to take kids to The Nutcracker today, across the street from Red Arrow Park. I'm sure there are many anxious people, worried about what the agitators might do.

It's sad that the ice rink and Starbucks were closed, but understandable given the national efforts by race baiters, sometimes called "civil rights leaders," and their minions to escalate violence against police. It would be irresponsible to let the general public get caught in that mess.

Of course, Hamilton's family and their legal counsel will continue to push for a federal investigation.

Operating within the law is their right. They should do what they need to do WITHIN THE LAW.

Standing on the freeway and blocking traffic, like Hamilton's family did last Friday, is NOT within the law.

It is the duty of the Milwaukee Police Department, and the National Guard if necessary, to keep the peace.

I expect them to take measures to protect the public from the violent actions of protesters/thugs.

Let's be honest. Some Leftists hate the police. They are promoting violence against them.

Others want to politically capitalize on the Hamilton case.

So, there are agitators in the streets and agitators online.

I do think that the assassination of two NYPD officers on Saturday afternoon by Ismaaiyl "#ShootThe Police" Brinsley, an "I Can't Breathe" guy, has heightened concern for the safety of police and the public from these thugs.

The assassinations have brought attention to the irresponsible rhetoric coming from Obama and Eric Holder and Bill de Blasio, as well as race baiters like Al Sharpton and NAACP officials.

WHAT DO WE WANT?

DEAD COPS.



No one deserves blind support, including the police.

However, I think it's safe to assume that the overwhelming majority of southeastern Wisconsin residents support the good guys, the police.

MAYOR Barrett sounds like a bystander, like he doesn't want to get involved and is an unwilling witness.

He says his role is to make sure everyone's voice is heard.

I think you have more to do than that, Tom.

Barrett is probably afraid of being de Blasio'ed.
