900-Pound Pig Rescued

Feel-good story of the day:

"Strawberry," a 900-pound pig, had to be rescued after slipping into a pond.

From FOX News:

A 900-pound pig named “Strawberry” slipped into a pond outside of Fort Lauderdale and it took several firefighters to get her out. One man said, “The pig was close to the edge, so we were using our bodies to rest the pig against the side, so at least the snout was out so she could get some air.”

A ladder and two straps around the pig’s waist were used to help slide Strawberry upward. Once the pig got its footing, she was able to make its way out.

Strawberry lives!

The rescue of Strawberry reminds me of the King of the Hill episode when Bobby rescued Mitch, the Amazing Diving Pig.
