Late Night with Jimmy Fallon continues its campaign to reelect Obama.
The NBC "chimes" should be Obama's 2012 campaign theme music.
Fallon's monologue began with a string of negative Mitt Romney jokes.
How many Obama jokes did he do?
Zero.
JIMMY FALLON: Yesterday, Nicki Minaj revealed that in her new song she only sarcastically endorsed Mitt Romney. Or, as Republicans put it, 'Wow! You, too?'
Actually, members of Mitt Romney's own party are starting to criticize him for being too vague. When asked if that bothers him, Romney was like, 'Maybe.'
Some more campaign news - A new CNN poll shows that President Obama now has a 6-point lead over Mitt Romney. You could tell that Romney's very depressed. Last night, he just sat on his couch and bought the Häagen-Dazs corporation.
Jimmy Fallon... in the tank.
No balance at all. No spreading the humor around. Too bad.
What really bugs me is when the "facts" used as the basis for the "joke" are misleading.
I don't want to be annoyed watching late night TV. I watch it to unwind and laugh and be entertained.
I used to enjoy Fallon's show, but he's going the blatantly liberal way of Letterman and Leno.
Balance is the way to go if entertaining the audience is the goal.
Among Wednesday's guests: David Gregory.
I think the White House must be booking Fallon's guests.
