WASHINGTON–The Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden, is pleased to announce he will be live-tweeting exclusively from @OnionPolitics during his debate with Paul Ryan tonight starting at 8pm EDT/7pm CDT.

During his time spent speaking on topics relating to foreign and domestic policy, Vice President Biden will be offering Twitter followers unprecedented access to his thoughts on the debate as it unfolds. The Onion, America's Finest News Source, is honored to host Biden on its Politics Twitter handle and become an intimate part of this historic occurrence.

In anticipation of this first-of-its-kind social media event, Vice President Biden says, "I'll be tweeting from The Onion's account the whole time I'm doing my thing up there. It's the best way to reach out to some hot mamacitas out there who are just old enough to vote, if you know what I mean."
