Romney: Binders Full of Women

Obama's supporters, at least the ones that yap on TV and the ones spouting on social networking cites, can be entertaining.

They latch on to something goofy and think it will turn Americans against Mitt Romney.

Obama and his team are like-minded, on the same page as their goofy supporters.

After the first presidential debate, they believed Mitt Romney's fatal mistake was mentioning Big Bird.

Only a few nights ago, I saw the Big Bird ad on the air.

Obviously, it was a losing strategy.

Now, after Tuesday's debate, the Obama camp is hyping a new line from Mitt Romney - "binders full of women."

Romney's use of that phrase was supposed to be the revelation that exposed him to be the enemy of American women.

"Binders full of women" was going to send American women running back to Obama.

How thoroughly idiotic!

There was nothing offensive about what Mitt Romney said, nothing condescending as the Leftists continue to claim. To the contrary, he was illustrating his support for women when discussing the process of assembling his cabinet as governor of Massachusetts.

Debate Transcript

MS. CROWLEY: Governor Romney, pay equity for women.

MR. ROMNEY: Thank you. And — important topic and one which I learned a great deal about, particularly as I was serving as governor of my state, because I had the — the chance to pull together a Cabinet and all the applicants seemed to be men. And I — and I went to my staff, and I said, how come all the people for these jobs are — are all men?

They said, well, these are the people that have the qualifications. And I said, well, gosh, can’t we — can’t we find some — some women that are also qualified?

And — and so we — we took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our cabinet. I went to a number of women’s groups and said, can you help us find folks? And I brought us whole binders full of — of women. I was proud of the fact that after I staffed my cabinet and my senior staff that the University of New York in Albany did a survey of all 50 states and concluded that mine had more women in senior leadership positions than any other state in America.
Romney states that he was able to find lots of qualified women for his cabinet. That's a good thing.

There is nothing insensitive or condescending or even awkward about Romney's use of "binders full of women."

That didn't keep Obama supporters from going nuts. The term went viral.

Read: "Mitt Romney remark, 'binders full of women,' becomes Internet sensation after debate with Obama."

How stupid are these Leftists?

Apparently, very.

The debate question was about pay equity for women.

To be blunt, Obama's record on that sucks.

Read: Democrats focus on equal pay issue while Obama White House pays women less.

Beyond Obama's inequities for women in his White House, Obama's sinking economy is responsible for misery experienced by women in all walks of American life.

One more thing--

Since Roe v. Wade, 1973, over fifty million babies have been aborted. At least 25 million of those babies were female. Imagine the list of 25 million names, "binders full of women," slaughtered before they were born.

That's a rather staggering image, isn't it?

Bottom line: Obama and his supporters are hypocrites. They are not to be taken seriously.
