Obama: Cult of Personality Fundraising Email

When Obama appeals for cash, he doesn't talk about his record, all his successes.

Why?

Because his record as president is terrible. Talking about all the promises he failed to keep would amount to pounding nails in his political coffin.

Obama doesn't say, "Vote for me, because you're better off today than you were four years ago."

Obama NEVER asks, "Are you better off than four years ago?"

He can't, because the answer is NO!

So, when Obama wants donations, he uses lame scare tactics, like his positively goofy, phony, degrading War on Women.

Obama also pulls embarrassing stunts like trying to rekindle the dying embers of  the 2008 romance, seducing potential donors with images that cry out, "I know you still love me."

One such fundraising email arrived yesterday.

Obama - Biden
Mary --

Today is the last FEC fundraising deadline of this campaign, and there's never been a more important time to donate.

Let's keep these two in the White House for four more years -- donate $5 or more before midnight.

Thanks,

Obama for America
This has to be the lamest appeal.

"Let's keep these two in the White House for four more years"?

"THESE TWO"?

Why?

We're talking about choosing the president of the United States, not renewing a sitcom or a reality show for a few more seasons, not filming a sequel of a movie.

These pictures are supposed to convince people to give their money to Obama's campaign.

How absurd!

Clearly, Obama's campaign is playing on his contrived, celebrity persona, not his ability to lead and produce results that help the American people and strengthen our country.

Sure, we'll keep suffering and struggling under Obama's hellish economy,  and we don't mind cover-ups and lies about a terrorist attack on our country, as long as we get to see that irresistable, charismatic couple, Barack and Michelle.  Yeah, we'll do that.

No job? No problem. Drop out of reality and just dream about Barack and Michelle.

Any voter swayed to part with their cash and send it to Obama, based on those pictures and the meaningless line, "Let's keep these two in the White House for four more years," is a fool.
