Obama: BuzzFeed Joke (Video)

I know the annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner is an opportunity for the DC crowd to laugh and take supposedly good-natured shots at one another.

But, Obama joking about his own college weed feed fests?

That's not a good example for the president to be setting.

Michelle Obama won't shut up when it comes to telling Americans what to eat and how much to exercise. Apparently, she doesn't have a problem with her husband joking about his past drug use/abuse.

Not good.

Here's video:

OBAMA: The problem is that the media landscape is changing so rapidly. You can't keep up with it. Uh, I mean, I remember when BuzzFeed was just something I did in college around 2 AM.

[Some gasps, groans, and awkward chuckles from the audience]

It's true.

[More uncomfortable reaction, laughter from the audience]
The addition of "It's true" is especially troubling.

Mr. Cool president is not cool.

This is just lame. It's inappropriate.

It's possible to maintain an aura of dignity while telling jokes.

Obama fails at that.

The "Just Say No" campaign is an ancient relic. I guess we've evolved.
