Obama, Jeffrey Osborne, George Osborne

Obama added to his long list of verbal blunders on Tuesday at the G8 Summit.

From The Sun:

MUSIC fan Barack Obama kept getting George Osborne’s name wrong after mixing him up with one of his favourite soul stars — Jeffrey Osborne.

The President explained his confusion to the Chancellor as he apologised for calling him “Jeffrey” three times at the G8 summit of the world’s wealthiest nations.

...George Osborne prides himself on being very pro-American — but that’s where the similarity ends.

JEFFREY OSBORNE, 65, is an R&B singer and songwriter whose hits include the 1982 ballad On the Wings of Love. His father, Clarence “Legs” Osborne, was a trumpet player who had 12 children and died when Jeffrey was 13.

GEORGE OSBORNE, 42, is the Oxford-educated MP for Tatton in Cheshire. His dad, Sir Peter Osborne, is the 17th Baronet of Ballentaylor and Ballylemon in County Waterford, Ireland, and co-founder of the posh fabric and wallpaper designers Osborne & Little.

...Mr Obama peppered Tuesday’s 90-minute session at Lough Erne, Northern Ireland, with remarks like: “Thanks for that, Jeffrey.”

...“The first time Obama did it was bad enough, but then he kept on repeating the error throughout the presentation. It got really cringe-worthy by the end.”

...In a second diplomatic gaffe on the same day, Mr Obama said Nick Clegg was more attractive than David Cameron. He told the Deputy PM: “It’s good to see the better looking half of the Coalition.”
With all due respect, what a buffoon!

Take Obama off the teleprompter and he's a mess.

If George W. Bush had made the same mistake, no Leftists would be looking for excuses. They would consider evidence that Bush is an idiot.

Of course when Obama makes a fool of himself, it's because he's tired or it's hot or he's distracted pondering the meaning of life. It's anything besides Obama being a dunce.

Let's revisit some of our "brilliant" president's gaffes:

The "Breathalzyer"

The "Corpse-man"

The "Twitters"

The "Uh"

The "E-pants-ipation"

"E-pants-pation" still makes me laugh.

Without a teleprompter, the man is lost. With his teleprompter, he struggles. He doesn't connect with his audience. He simply reads, sometimes with disastrous results.

When it comes to content, Obama really falls apart.

Obama is an embarrassment.
