Playing Steve Jobs appears to have had a profound effect on Ashton Kutcher.
It seems Kutcher has grown up. He seems to have done some soul-searching. He used the forum of the Teen Choice Awards to say some important things that too many kids don't hear anymore. Few celebrities they admire encourage them to work hard and be smart and be kind.
I hope teens really think about what Chris Ashton Kutcher said in his acceptance speech at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards.
I hope adults pay attention as well, particularly Leftists and dependents on Big Government.
We don't hear many stories like the one Chris tells, especially from celebrities in Hollywood. We don't hear them give the sort of advice he shares.
Acceptance speeches at these award shows are usually embarrassing displays of inflated egos. This one was different.
CHRIS ASHTON KUTCHER: The sexiest thing in the entire world is being really smart, and being thoughtful, and being generous. Everything else is crap! I promise you. It's just crap that people try to sell to you to make you feel like less. So don't buy it. Be smart, be thoughtful, and be generous. Here's video:
So, build a life. Don't live one, build one. Find your opportunities, and always be sexy (pointing to his head).
Our popular culture puts so much value on the superficial and the unimportant and the "crap."
As a result, there are so many unhappy people and so many possibilities unfulfilled.
