Cardinal Dolan Milwaukee Lecture

All day, I've heard TV and radio reports about Cardinal Timothy Dolan's lecture tonight at the Milwaukee Theatre.

The event was not SOLD OUT. True, tickets for the event went quickly and there was a waiting list.

However, none were sold.

The lecture was FREE. A FREE event can't be SOLD OUT.

Thursday night’s event is sold out, with about 4,000 people claiming tickets by early August.

No, no, no.

Not SOLD OUT. It was a capacity crowd, but not a SOLD OUT crowd.

“My nearly seven years here were extraordinarily happy ones, and I don’t mind telling you that I miss you very much,” Dolan said.
