The Supreme Court of the United States is allowing Wisconsin's voter ID law to stand.
From USA Today:
The Supreme Court refused Monday to hear a major challenge to Wisconsin's voter ID law, delivering a victory to Republicans who favor tougher election laws. The notion that the law is unfair is ridiculous.
The decision is a setback for civil rights groups that contend the law could disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of residents who lack proper ID — particularly racial minorities, seniors, students and people with disabilities.
A free ID will be provided to Wisconsin voters.
IT'S FREE.
Thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court, our voter ID law is intact. Going forward, it will be easy to vote but hard to cheat.
