Penzey: Cooking Trumps Sexism Email

Bill Penzey continues to whine about Donald Trump and his supporters.

Now, he refers to the "heartbreak of the sexism of this election." However, he is holding off on his "Cooking Trumps Sexism" post until after the holidays. Apparently, even his Leftist customers want him to give it a rest at Christmas and quit the divisive crap.

From his Thursday email:

We are not just words, we are a Spice business. And when we plan to pair an idea with a Seasoning, it takes a fair amount of preparation to grind and blend the Spices to make that Seasoning and have it arrive in the right quantities in all our locations. Along with the incredibly positive response we received to our Cooking trumps Racism email and Facebook post came the call to do something similar to address the level of damage the sexism of this last election has done to our country as well. So Cooking trumps Sexism was penciled into the schedule and Ruth Ann's Muskego Avenue was chosen to be the Seasoning giveaway to go with it.

Since that penciling into the schedule, I've read thousands more emails from our customers about the heartbreak of the sexism of this election. It is one thing to yet again see a more qualified woman passed over, but to be passed over for the most openly sexist candidate for President in any of our lifetimes has been honestly heartbreaking to so very many. One email put it so well: "If I were younger, I might just be able to shrug it off. But I am 65 years old and life is no longer an endless ribbon ahead of me."

Cooking brings amazing strength to our lives; it really does heal the world. Seeing how great the need for healing is here, we've decided the hecticness of the holiday season would not help the healing, so we are holding off on the Cooking trumps Sexism post until after the holidays. Still, this is a great blend and it is in place, so we are going with the offer as planned. Ruth Ann's Muskego Avenue is my father's love letter to my mom written in Spices. It is a melody played in the moments of flavor that came together so beautifully to shape the amazingly strong person that is my mom. In some ways I think it can be called a Lemon-Pepper Seasoning—alive with flavor. Try it; like her, it's very special.

And tomorrow's the last day for great prices on the Love People-Cook them tasty food gift boxes in their variety of colors. These boxes really are a wonderful introduction to Penzeys and a wide open gateway to cooking. To get people to do something, they have to see the value in it. The Love People boxes do such a great job of radiating all the goodness cooking brings to life. At this point we've run out of both sizes of the purple boxes, so if you have your heart set on a certain color you might not want to wait until 11:59pm tomorrow to place your order.

No coupon or code is needed for the Love People-Cook them tasty food boxes. That price reduction is automatic for everyone. To get your $6.95 value Ruth Ann's Seasoning, just show this email/bring in the coupon above to one of our stores and spend $5. Or visit us online at penzeys.com, and enter 24554C into the apply code box when checking out after spending at least $5. It's easy.

And if you still can, hug your mom. With all our moms have had to face, this has been a tough year. And if your mom voted for him, hug her twice.

Thanks again,

Bill

This is hard to swallow:

"I've read thousands more emails from our customers about the heartbreak of the sexism of this election. It is one thing to yet again see a more qualified woman passed over, but to be passed over for the most openly sexist candidate for President in any of our lifetimes has been honestly heartbreaking to so very many."
THOUSANDS of Penzey's customers have emailed him about the "heartbreak of the sexism of this election"? Really? That would be a lot of emails for Penzey to receive about the election's sexism. It seems a bit much.

Moreover, Penzey's line about Hillary being "passed over for the most openly sexist candidate for President in any of our lifetimes" is laughable. He's choosing to forget about Bill Clinton. Of course, he was an openly sexist candidate and president, and according to Colin Powell, he continues to behave badly.

In my lifetime, no candidate or president was more openly sexist and abusive than Bill Clinton. That's the reality. Bill Penzey is not allowed to rewrite history to suit his anti-Trump, anti-conservative agenda.

Penzey's assumption that it's been a "tough year" for our moms because Hillary lost is baseless. A lot of moms are celebrating that the Leftist agenda has been successfully rejected and are hoping for better days ahead with Republicans in control.

Let healing the world begin!
