The Wisconsin State Assembly passed SJR-3 on a 52-42 vote. The Senate passed it on Jan. 26th. It terminates @GovEvers' EO #104, he issued on Jan. 19th. SJR-3 goes into effect tomorrow. It does not stop @GovEvers from immediately issuing another emergency order. #WIright

The Wisconsin Assembly has joined the Senate in passing a joint resolution to end Governor Evers' public health emergency (and with it the statewide mask mandate). It will take effect when Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu sign it tomorrow.

If you live in Wisconsin, you know Tony Evers is doing an awful job managing the COVID-19 crisis. (Where are the vaccines, Tony?) Evers is a liar. He doesn't keep his promises. He's been playing politics with our health for nearly a year. If Evers followed the science, public schools would be open. Furthermore, putting an end to Evers' alleged public health emergency powers doesn't mean that masks won't be worn in Wisconsin. Businesses require masks. Churches require masks. I can't think of any place I go that doesn't require people to wear masks. It's important to remember that there are many threats to Wisconsinites. COVID-19 isn't the only danger to our lives. An unconstitutional power grab is a threat to Wisconsinites, too.Since the beginning of this pandemic, I promised I would:
