Newsweek contributor @RichardHanania believes those w/ #Downsyndrome aren’t worthy of life. Richard, this little Angel is everyone’s favorite person in our family. Pure joy, all smiles & unconditional love. I’d love for you to meet our Valentina. She’ll melt your ❤️. You need it! https://t.co/aHgOYvX4QI pic.twitter.com/XHi3q8tmcH

Look at these two precious children. Look at their smiles, their joy.We should strive for a world where we treat all lives with the value they deserve, and we are unfortunately still very far from that.

Are these little sweethearts less than human because they have Down Syndrome? Are their lives in any way less valuable?
Who else is not fit to live according to Richard Hanania? Who belongs on the Kill List? Which conditions and diseases are included? Are we just supposed to dispose of people some eugenics advocates like Hanania deem unworthy to live?Hanania writes, "If red states ban abortion, we could see a world where they have five times as many children with Down syndrome, and similar numbers for other disabilities. Could be outliers in the whole developed world. There are already negative stereotypes of Americans in these states, one can imagine it getting much more extreme." Wow. This guy has a ghoulish, blackened soul. "The developed world" has strict standards when it comes to people's worthiness. Loving and accepting all people is not an option for Hanania. It's somehow noble to eliminate what he and those like him consider to be substandard life. Imagine a world where people respected and valued all life. It isn't hard to do. It's a goal worth pursuing. With a joyful, loving heart, it's possible. Will they maintain their belief in a small safety net and lower government spending in such a world? Would liberals change their minds about government spending if it ends up going to states that have much higher costs due to these laws? Many interesting things to think about.
