Judy Munro-Leighton Lied about Kavanaugh Rape

Read what Judy Munro-Leighton did.

Under questioning by Committee investigators, Ms. Munro-Leighton admitted, contrary to her prior claims, that she had not been sexually assaulted by Judge Kavanaugh and was not the author of the original “Jane Doe” letter. When directly asked by Committee investigators if she was, as she had claimed, the “Jane Doe” from Oceanside California who had sent the letter to Senator Harris, she admitted: “No, no, no. I did that as a way to grab attention. I am not Jane Doe . . . but I did read Jane Doe’s letter. I read the transcript of the call to your Committee. . . . I saw it online. It was news.”

She further confessed to Committee investigators that (1) she “just wanted to get attention”; (2) “it was a tactic”; and (3) “that was just a ploy.” She told Committee investigators that she had called Congress multiple times during the Kavanaugh hearing process – including prior to the time Dr. Ford’s allegations surfaced – to oppose his nomination. Regarding the false sexual-assault allegation she made via her email to the Committee, she said: “I was angry, and I sent it out.” When asked by Committee investigators whether she had ever met Judge Kavanaugh, she said: “Oh Lord, no.”

In short, during the Committee’s time-sensitive investigation of allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, Ms. Munro-Leighton submitted a fabricated allegation, which diverted Committee resources. When questioned by Committee investigators she admitted it was false, a “ploy,” and a “tactic.” She was opposed to Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Has anyone asked Jeff Flake or Lisa Murkowski or virtually every single Democrat on the Judiciary Committee to comment?

No?

Believe survivors?

Munro-Leighton lied about being sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh. She never even met him. Remember the women who confronted Flake in the elevator? Are they angry at Munro-Leighton? Will they track her down and accost her?

Vote against these crazed Leftists. Don't give the Democrats power. Vote Republican.

Democrats' Complaints About FBI Investigation ABSURD

Andrew McCarthy writes:

The Delay, Delay, Delay strategy to stop Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the Supreme Court is taking the predictable course. Once they got Republicans to agree to the one-week delay, Democrats immediately started complaining that the time limit was arbitrary — that the FBI should have whatever time is necessary “to get the job done.”

herein lies the issue, which Democrats have obfuscated from the start. “The job” is not the FBI’s job, it is the Senate’s; and the job is not to conduct a criminal investigation, it is to develop enough information that the Senate can responsibly exercise its constitutional advice-and-consent duty.

Thus understood, “the job” is already done. The Senate has more information about this nominee than it has had about any judicial nominee in history. It has vetted him before, approving his nomination to the prestigious D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. In the ensuing dozen years, Kavanaugh has issued hundreds of opinions, many of which are influential in the Supreme Court and the lower courts. He has, moreover, interacted with colleagues and litigants who give him high grades for collegiality and temperament. He has hired and mentored an impressive and diverse stable of law clerks, who think the world of him and are coveted for distinguished positions in the legal profession, including Supreme Court clerkships.

Furthermore, this nomination is the occasion for the seventh FBI background check of Kavanaugh’s career. The number is high because he has held positions of high responsibility, including national-security duties. Consequently, he has been carefully examined and found fit for access to the nation’s most closely held defense secrets.

Beyond that, Kavanaugh attended private meetings with 65 senators, gave 31 hours of testimony at the initial round of hearings, and responded to over 1,200 written questions — more post-hearing questions than all prior Supreme Court nominees combined. When Christine Blasey Ford’s uncorroborated, highly dubious claim of a 36-year-old sexual assault arose, he provided hours more of compelling testimony, denying the allegations and masterfully marshaling the evidence that demonstrates the incredibility of Ford’s allegation.

There is already more information than is needed — mountains more — for the Senate to vote.
I am disgusted by the Democrats, as well as Jeff Flake, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski.

The way they have tortured Brett Kavanaugh, his wife, and two daughters is unforgivable.

Leah Vukmir, Jeff Flake, and Tammy Baldwin

If you experienced the insanity of the Act 10 protests, you're likely experiencing déjà vu as you witness the confirmation process of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

The Democrats walking out, the positively unhinged protests, all the ugliness coming from the Democrats - it's Wisconsin 2011.

The fact that Jeff Flake claims protesters confronting him in an elevator caused him to flip at the last minute illustrates how desperately we need strong, principles leaders like Leah Vukmir in Washington. (That elevator scene looked staged to me.)

Flake and Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are holding the nation hostage. We have to take away their power by electing more Republicans like Leah Vukmir.

If we had more senators like her in Washington, the likes of Collins and Murkowski would no longer be able to determine the fate of our country.

We can put an end to this craziness. All we have to do is vote.

We stopped Hillary Clinton. We got rid of Russ Feingold. We can do the same with Tammy Baldwin.

Jeff Flake, Doug Jones, and Decency

In response to the results of the Alabama special election for the U.S. Senate, Jeff Flake took to Twitter to declare, "Decency wins."

I have a problem putting the slaughter of the unborn and decency together.

CHUCK TODD: Let me ask you on abortion, what are the limitations that you believe should be in the law when it comes to an abortion?

DOUG JONES: Well, look, I, I am a firm believer that a woman should have the freedom to choose what happens to her own body, and I'm gonna stand up for that. And I'm gonna make sure that that continues to happen. I want to make sure that as we go forward people have access to contraception, they have access to the abortion that they might need, if that's what they choose to do. I think that that's gonna be an issue that we can work with and talk to people about from both sides of the aisle. It's one of those issues that I think....

CHUCK TODD: But you wouldn't legislate, so, you wouldn't be in favor of legislation that said ban abortion after 20 weeks, or something like that.

DOUG JONES: No, I'm not in favor of anything that is going to infringe on a woman's right and her freedom to choose. That's just the position that I've had for many years. It's the position I continue to have. But when those people, I want to make sure that people understand, that once a baby is born, I'm gonna be there for that child. That's where I become a right-to-lifer.

Jones clarified his comments about abortion in another interview, but he just reiterated his earlier remarks.

From AL.com:

In an interview this week with AL.com at his Huntsville campaign office, Jones said he wanted "to be clear" where he stood in the aftermath of a national interview with MSNBC that included abortion and led some political observers in the state to speculate he had damaged his campaign.

During a wide-ranging interview on Tuesday, Jones - who faces Republican Roy Moore in the Senate election -- was asked by AL.com about his position on abortion.

"Those comments, everybody wants to attack you so they are going to make out on those comments what they want to their political advantage," Jones said. "To be clear, I fully support a woman's freedom to choose to what happens to her own body. That is an intensely, intensely personal decision that only she, in consultation with her god, her doctor, her partner or family, that's her choice.

"Having said that, the law for decades has been that late-term procedures are generally restricted except in the case of medical necessity. That's what I support. I don't see any changes in that. It is a personal decision."
Decency wins?

Not really.
