John Madden Karaoke: Jimmy Fallon and the Jets

Previously, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon has featured editions of "Rush Limbaugh Karaoke" and Mark Sanford Karaoke."

On Tuesday night, audience members sang in the "John Madden Karaoke" competition.

The lyrics of the songs were the actual words of John Madden.

The first song was "Boom!"

Ninety percent of football,
is half mental
Yeah, ninety percent of
football, is half mental
The team that ends up
scoring the most
usually ends up
winning the game
Get Tough Actin' Tinactin

The second song was "Boom! (The Remix)."
The offensive lineman are the
biggest guys on the field
They're bigger than
everbody else
and that's what makes them
the biggest guys on the field
When you're playing good
football, it's good football
and if you don't have
good football
then you're not really
playing good football

To sing the final song, three players from the New York Jets stopped by: Dustin Keller, Kerry Rhodes, and Jerricho Cotchery.

Fallon asked, "Any chance of Brett Favre playing for you guys this year?"

The response: "You never know."

They sang "Memories of 'Boom! (The Remix)': A Tribute to the Song 'Boom! (The Remix)'"

Boom
Boom
If the quarterback throws
the ball in the end zone
and it is caught, that's
gonna be a touchdown
The goal of football is to score
more points than your opponent
The offense is all about
scoring points
Scoring, scoring, scoring
points. Boom!

The Jets players were really good sports.

I miss John Madden.
