Obama's NCAA Bracket

Obama's picks for the NCAA tournament are here.

He picked both Wisconsin and Marquette to get past the first round.

My reaction to Obama's picks:

Obama's playing politics.

The official word on that?

No.

From the New York Times:

The president’s selections were rooted in basketball knowledge, rather than trying to curry favor with key political states. Only one team in the Final Four – Villanova, from Pennsylvania – is from a typical battleground state.

He picked Ohio State to win their first two games, but said they would fall to Georgetown. “I’m not trying to win electoral votes in Ohio,” Obama said.

I don't believe anything he says.
