Janus Decision

Wednesday was filled with good news, including the Supreme Court's ruling on Janus v. AFSCME, Council 31.

As a former member of AFSCME, against my will, I think it's great that government workers will now have the freedom to choose if they want to pay union dues and financially support a political machine.

Supreme Court today affirms what we did years ago -- gives public servants the freedom to choose whether they want to be in union or not. Pro-worker & pro-taxpayer! Great day! 🇺🇸

The Janus decision does not outlaw unions. If the union is doing such a great job, I'm sure workers will gladly hand over their money to support it.

This decision should be no threat to unions. It's about the freedom to choose. It's PRO-CHOICE.
