Wednesday was filled with good news, including the Supreme Court's ruling on Janus v. AFSCME, Council 31.

As a former member of AFSCME, against my will, I think it's great that government workers will now have the freedom to choose if they want to pay union dues and financially support a political machine.

Charlie Sykes, former Milwaukee conservative talk radio host, writes:

As America continues its downward spiral of incivility, we have entered the Summer of Jerkitude. (I had thought about using a different word that ended in “-holery,” but wasn’t sure it would pass muster with the editors of a tasteful and intellectual publication like THE WEEKLY STANDARD.)

But “jerkitude” is a useful concept for our national moment of irritation and obnoxiousness. As it happens, some years ago, Eric Schwitzgebel, a professor of philosophy at the University of California, Riverside, developed a comprehensive theory of the essence of jerkitude:

The jerk culpably fails to appreciate the perspectives of others around him, treating them as tools to be manipulated or idiots to be dealt with rather than as moral and epistemic peers. . . .The jerk himself is both intellectually and emotionally defective, and what he defectively fails to appreciate is both the intellectual and emotional perspectives of the people around him.

Apparently, Sykes doesn't recognize himself. He uses a definition of jerk that applies to him.

During the 2016 election and, I imagine, for more than 500 days of the Trump presidency, Sykes has mocked the president and his supporters. He called his talk radio audience racists. He routinely pushes the narrative that one must be out of one's mind to support Trump. Of course, he mocks Trump's appearance, too. He echoes the Democrat/Leftist mantras.

I guess Sykes' persona of jerkitude plays well on MSNBC, but he is unrecognizable to many of his former listeners in southeast Wisconsin, undergoing a dramatic transformation.

In his piece, Sykes details recent displays of incivility, including those involving Maxine Waters, Seth Rogen, Robert De Niro, Corey Lewandowski, and Stephanie Wilkinson, owner of The Red Hen.

Then, he addresses what we experienced in Wisconsin and the similarity of that insanity to the current national political divisiveness.

...As a political strategy, this effusion of rage undoubtedly does fire up the bases on both sides, and that seems to be the theme of this year’s midterm election. But a cautionary note is in order.

As a Wisconsinite, all of this seems familiar. During the battle over Act 10—Scott Walker’s proposal to limit the collective bargaining powers of public employees—the over-the-top incivility of the protesters turned the tide of political opinion against them. A cascade of obscenities, threats against Walker and his supporters, and the disruption of events for disabled athletes alienated swing voters for more than half a decade.

Given the emotionalism of our own angry moment, it may seem pointless to suggest that a wiser and more effective strategy would be for partisans to appeal to the better angels of our nature. So, instead, perhaps, they should consider this:

Not a single swing voter was persuaded to embrace Seth Rogen’s cause by his treatment of Ryan; Lewandowski did not win a single crossover vote for the GOP by mocking a disabled child; and not a single independent voter in a key congressional district was inspired to vote for a Democrat by the expulsion of Sarah Sanders from the Red Hen restaurant. Instead, the tribal lines were reinforced, with each side reinforcing their collective sense of victimization and fury.

Meanwhile, voters who are part of an inchoate coalition of the decent found themselves more alienated than ever by the jerks who now dominate our political culture.

Yes, it's funny that Sykes acts as if he's not an active participant in the Summer of Jerkitude. He genuinely seems to believe that he hasn't been a jerk, that he has behaved in a civil manner and is above all the ugliness.

That doesn't fly here in Wisconsin.

Given his experience with how the Leftists behaved in Wisconsin during the Act 10 battle, Sykes should realize that his often vicious attacks on conservatives did not persuade a single Wisconsin voter to abandon Trump and, in effect, support the Leftist agenda.

Leftists Off the Rails

On Saturday, I read this New York Times article.

It was a surprisingly balanced discussion of how Trump supporters are reacting to the insanity and derangement of the Democrats/Leftists and why they continue to support the president.

I think the article failed to give enough emphasis to the policy matters that are driving support for Trump. But overall, for a New York Times piece, it didn't berate the people supporting Trump.

That's probably because the people interviewed for the article pointed out that the off the rails derangement of the Leftists plays a big part in keeping them in Trump's corner.

I don't know why Democrats/Leftists/Never Trumpers have failed to grasp that their lunacy is not bringing Trump voters to their side. In fact, their insane words and actions serve to solidify support for Trump.

Leah Vukmir Ad - 'Threatened'

Leah Vukmir released an ad today that has people talking.

That's exactly what an ad should do.

The ad is called "Threatened."

How one responds to this ad has a lot to do with what one brings to the table.

If you live in Wisconsin, if you were around during the Act 10 Democrat insurgency, you understand what Leah Vukmir is saying.

I remember the occupation of the capitol and the protests of the crazed, deranged Leftists. It was similar to what we see now in response to President Trump, complete lunacy. The insanity of the Democrats and the death threats directed at Scott Walker and other Republicans, like Vukmir, are vivid memories, making the current display of Trump Derangement Syndrome so familiar. Here in Wisconsin, we've witnessed the Democrats melt down. Of course, their meltdown caused Gov. Scott Walker to make history and win the recall election.

While Leah Vukmir, Scott Walker and his family, and others received threats of violence, we all were threatened. The Democrats' attempted to undo the election. They had a tantrum and we stood firm. We won.

That context must be addressed when viewing the ad.

The family photos at the beginning ground the message. It's clear that the safety and well-being of our loved ones must be defended and Vukmir intends to do that.

As the camera pans past the photos and through the room, we see Vukmir seated at the table as she addresses the viewer. The camera draws the viewer toward her and into her message. It's as if we're sitting across from her. It's very effective.

What's on the table is causing some controversy. There's that big gun.

It is somewhat jarring, as reality can be, but it's not disturbing. She's not holding the gun. She's not pointing the gun at anyone, but it's there, ready to use to defend if necessary.

The ad does not advocate violence. To the contrary, it displays the reality of good people exercising their rights under the Constitution. It's a visual representation that Vukmir is a strong person, refusing to give in to the relentless threats that conservatives receive. Vukmir showed her mettle in 2011 and 2012 when she took on union bosses. Later, she worked to defund Planned Parenthood. She reminds the viewer that she isn't a spineless Republican, even mentioning her intent to work with President Trump.

Showing Vukmir with the gun also speaks to her primary opponent, Kevin Nicholson. Nicholson, a Marine veteran, focuses on his military service in his campaign, "Send in the Marine." This ad dispels the notion that Vukmir isn't as tough as Nicholson. Although she wasn't a Marine, she's not going to back down in a fight. Also, very effective.

In addition to the gun silently sending a message, there's the cross. Vukmir wears a cross necklace that's impossible to miss. When I watched the ad, I didn't take the cross to be a rallying cry to Christians. Much like the gun, I see it as an embrace of our freedoms. Vukmir is unashamed to express her faith. The cross doesn't exclude anyone. It sends the message that we each have the right to worship according to our own conscience.

I'm sure people will yap that this ad is full of dog whistles. While it is packed with meaning, I don't think its meaning is hidden.

It's all out there on the table.

Berkeley Leftist Thugs and Milo Yiannopoulos - RIOT

I suppose it should come as no surprise that a simple speech by Milo Yiannopoulos at Berkeley would be used as an excuse for Leftist thugs to riot.

Yiannopoulos' planned talk was scrapped after violent protesters hurled smoke bombs, broke windows and started a bonfire outside the student union where he was to appear.

"No one’s safety is at risk from different opinions," Yiannopoulos told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" in a phone interivew. "No one’s physical safety is endangered by political ideas from a speaker on campus, but universities have sort of allowed this stuff to happen, and even in some cases encouraged it."

The Berkeley appearance was to be the 32-year-old's last stop on a nationwide college tour that has sparked protests and occasional violence. Yiannopoulos told Carlson that he believes the protesters view him as a proxy for President Donald Trump, whom he vocally supports.

This was no peaceful protest. It wasn't a demonstration. This was a riot. Violence was used to cause chaos, and ultimately, squelch free speech.

We saw this in Wisconsin in 2011. This is definitely a déjà vu situation. The Leftists went nuts. They destroyed property and spewed hateful rhetoric, occupying the Capitol. How did that "movement" turn out?

It failed in every sense.

The runaway Democrat state senators eventually returned, accomplishing absolutely nothing of substance by leaving the state -- FAILURE.

Their recall of Gov. Scott Walker FAILED, actually turning Gov. Walker into a national figure and dramatically raising his profile.

Act 10 passed and is still in place -- another FAILURE.

People here in Wisconsin were more determined than ever to not let the Leftist thugs win, not reward their tantrum.

And we didn't.

So, keep up the hysteria, Leftists. Keep setting fires and breaking glass and chanting inanities. It's helping Donald Trump and the conservative cause.

Leftists really need to examine what happened in Wisconsin and think about what they're doing.

I received a nice email last week from one of our customers who is heading to the Washington Women's March on January 21st. She was hoping to purchase some of our Embrace Hope stickers to hand out to her fellow bus passengers. We sent the stickers at no charge, and thought it would be nice to send along some Kind Heart pins as well.

We learned in Wisconsin that protests really are an important piece of limiting what damage is done. The forces of open racism and open sexism have been intentionally set free by the rhetoric of this presidential election, and by the leadership proposed for the incoming administration. We believe that Kindness cannot sit down simply because anger has stood up. Without the spotlight and awareness protest brings, open sexism and racism will not be reined in. We all must work to support those with the strength and skills to successfully protest. They really are the front line in defending the goodness that makes America something special in the eyes of the world.

But as much as protest is key to maintaining the hard-won rights of so many that are very much at risk right now, protest alone will only take things so far. It's simply not enough to point and say "Can't you see what they’re doing here?" In the long run you have to offer people a better vision of the future, a vision they want more. This is where I think our Kind Heart pins can help.

If you are one of the many who have made plans to bus it on out to our Capitol for the Women's March, we would like to send some Kind Heart pins with you. Our supply at the moment is not unlimited, but while they last we would like to send three for each person on your bus—one to keep, and two to pass out as a thanks for kindness found along the road or in the capital. In the short term protest is key, but in the long run our compassion is our greatest strength.

The protests in Madison over Act 10 only served to elevate the status of Governor Scott Walker and Wisconsin Republicans. The country was disgusted by the outrageous behavior of the Leftists and the runaway Democrat Wisconsin state senators.

It took us until August to launch our "Support your local teacher" campaign to counteract Wisconsin's attack on public schools. We saw this in Wisconsin when the Leftists occupied the Capitol in 2011.

Their craziness motivated us to vote in the Scott Walker recall.

Sane, peaceful protests are fine, but when the loons go nuts, there's a backlash.

The protesters elevated Walker. They helped him.

These protests can only help Trump.

Protests to Trump’s Election Spread Nationwide

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in Manhattan on Wednesday night and converged on Trump Tower in Midtown to protest the election of Donald J. Trump as president.

Similar protests happened in several cities across the country, including Boston, Chicago, Seattle and Washington, and at college campuses in California, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

In New York, the protests started in separate waves from Union Square and Columbus Circle and snaked their way through Midtown.

The protesters chanted “You’re not our president” and “New York hates Trump” and carried signs that said, among other things, “Dump Trump.” Restaurant workers in their uniforms briefly left their posts to cheer on the demonstrators.

Heather Bronnson

Thank you, Heather Bronnson.

Rocking the boat is scary, but she did it anyway.

Heather Bronnson, mother of a Nathan Hale High School student, did local parents a tremendous service when she said something about the disgracefully politically biased worksheet used in her son's government class.

When you dare to question or take on the public schools, you know you're putting yourself at potential risk.

Remember the crazed teachers who swooped on the Capitol in 2011 to protest Act 10, deranged loons like public high school teacher Fred Levenhagen?

If you cross one of them, you might have someone like Levenhagen in your face.

Remember April Kay Smith, the Germantown kindergarten teacher who went on a rampage and vandalized the Republican Party booth at the Jefferson County Fair?

Really crazy.

We know that some of these teachers are capable of really outlandish behavior. They will lash out.

That's why I think Heather Bronnson deserves so much credit.

The easy thing to do would have been to stay quiet about the injustice in the Nathan Hale classroom. Instead, she chose to do the right thing.

Doing the right thing in this case means that she's opened herself up to attack.

For example, from Erin Richards, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

In politically polarized Wisconsin, the nature of a suburban high school government class assignment aimed at helping students figure out which beliefs align with certain political ideologies has come under fire.

Awww, the assignment was aimed at "helping students." Isn't that nice?

If "helping" refers to brainwashing kids into believing Republicans and conservatives are evil and don't care about the poor, then the assignment did "help."

A Nathan Hale High School mother took her concerns over a recent class assignment public after a teacher graded her son as incorrect for assessing the statement, "We should not help the poor, it's a waste of money," as fascist, instead of what the teacher marked as the correct answer: conservative/Republican.

The issue was brought to light by conservative news outlet EAGNews.org and then Fox News. Both posted photos of the assignment from the mother, identified by EAG as Heather Bronnson.

Bronnson posted the EAGNews story on social media Monday, adding the comment, "No political party espouses not helping the poor, it's ridiculous. Why can't they just teach the basic political spectrum without lying?"

Bronnson's postings elsewhere on social media are critical of unions. Attempts to reach her for comment by phone and online were unsuccessful Tuesday.

Imagine. CONSERVATIVE news outlets actually had the audacity to bring the abuse to light. Terrible, right?

Richards writes as if Bronnson is the extremist, making unfounded accusations.

WRONG. She behaved reasonably, while Richards is falling in lockstep with those Leftist thugs incapable of taking justified criticism.

Richards looked into Bronnson's social media activity and declares that she has posted remarks critical of unions.

Wow. Throw her in jail. Good grief.

A West Allis-West Milwaukee School District spokesman said Tuesday the political spectrum assignment was developed by teachers at the high school and has been used for about a decade.

That's interesting. The assignment was a home-grown thing. Not surprised about that.

He said social studies teachers will not use the assignment in the future.

Oh, that will solve the problem.

Not using that particular assignment does nothing to change the mindset of the social studies teachers at Nathan Hale.

Are we really supposed to believe ridding the classroom of that assignment will rid the classroom of bias against conservatives?

Spokesman Brian Vissers refrained from saying whether the teacher was correct to mark the student's answer to that particular statement about not helping the poor as a conservative belief.

But he said the issue had been fueled by EAG, a media group with an anti-public education agenda.

"There are all types of questions on this assignment ranging from far right to far left," he said. "It seems like the mother in this case just pulled out what her political views are. She didn't have any issues with the articles or questions on the other side of the political spectrum."

If Vissers can't admit that the assignment was fundamentally flawed and the teacher was wrong to mark the item as incorrect, then a serious problem persists.

It's ridiculous for Vissers to say that the issue was fueled by EAG.

No, the issue is what it is -- a flagrant example of political bias and Leftist indoctrination.

I heard Heather Bronnson, in an interview with Charlie Sykes, say that she thought the entire assignment was poor and it should not be used.

That, of course, is something Vissers and Richards and the others don't want known.

The line, "It seems like the mother in this case just pulled out what her political views are," is hilarious.

This article fully supports the Leftist agenda and attempts to degrade Bronnson, just pulling out the political views to prop up the Leftist perspective.

Lee Saunders, AFSCME, Targets Scott Walker

The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees has a "score to settle" with Scott Walker.

The nation’s largest public sector union is mounting an intense effort to eject Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker from office this fall, determined to oust the Republican who punctured the power of organized labor in the state.

“We have a score to settle with Scott Walker,” Lee Saunders, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, said in his first interview about the union's midterm strategy.

“He took collective bargaining away from us,” Saunders added, noting that the union was first started in the 1930s by state employees in Madison. “He stole our voices, in a state where we were born.”

...Saunders declined to specify how much AFSCME would pump into politics this year, saying only: “We play hard.”

That sounds rather thuggish.

...The union’s top target is Walker, whose 2011 legislation curbing the collective bargaining rights of public employees set off a political storm. The law, which prevents the automatic deduction of union dues from worker paychecks, has cut deeply into the membership of AFSCME and other unions in Wisconsin.

“We’ve lost 70% of our membership in the state,” said Saunders, adding that the union is down to about 25,000 members there. “But let me tell you something: the members that remain are some of the most committed and dedicated members that we have all across this country.”

Walker survived a contentious recall attempt backed by AFSCME and other unions in 2012. But labor officials said that they believe they have a better shot defeating the governor in a normal election year.

Why did the union lose 70 percent of its membership in Wisconsin after Act 10 became law? What does that tell you?

The union wasn't outlawed. Members CHOSE to leave the union.

In effect, Scott Walker and the legislature gave the members their freedom to choose, and the members acted.

No wonder Walker is AFSCME's Public Enemy No. 1. The union leaders don't want people to have a choice.

This "[Walker] stole our voices" crap is crap.

Hey, Lee! Your past members decided to bail. Walker isn't responsible for your membership bleed.

AFSCME wants power and control. The union wants to force people to serve the organization. Unfortunately, for Saunders and his brethren, the members aren't cooperating, 70 percent, 25,000 strong.

Scott Walker didn't steal their voices. He gave them a choice.

For years, have I thought that John Chisholm's relentless investigation of Scott Walker was personal?

Yeah.

Did the "John Doe" investigation and its various tentacles appear totally out of line and unprofessional?

Yeah.

Have I believed that John Chisholm abused his power and harassed citizens, with the purpose of targeting them to advance a Democrat political agenda?

Yeah.

Now a longtime Chisholm subordinate reveals for the first time in this article that the district attorney may have had personal motivations for his investigation. Chisholm told him and others that Chisholm’s wife, Colleen, a teacher’s union shop steward at St. Francis high school, a public school near Milwaukee, had been repeatedly moved to tears by Walker’s anti-union policies in 2011, according to the former staff prosecutor in Chisholm’s office. Chisholm said in the presence of the former prosecutor that his wife “frequently cried when discussing the topic of the union disbanding and the effect it would have on the people involved … She took it personally.”

...Chisholm added, according to that prosecutor, that “he felt that it was his personal duty to stop Walker from treating people like this.”

Chisholm was referring to Gov. Walker’s proposal – passed by the legislature in March 2011 – to require public employee unions to contribute to their retirement and health-care plans for the first time and to limit unions’ ability to bargain for non-wage benefits.

Chisholm said his wife had joined teachers union demonstrations against Walker, said the former prosecutor.

...Chisholm’s private displays of partisan animus stunned the former prosecutor. “I admired him [Chisholm] greatly up until this whole thing started,” the former prosecutor said. “But once this whole matter came up, it was surprising how almost hyper-partisan he became … It was amazing … to see this complete change.”

The culture in the Milwaukee district attorney’s office was stoutly Democratic, the former prosecutor said, and become more so during Gov. Walker’s battle with the unions. Chisholm “had almost like an anti-Walker cabal of people in his office who were just fanatical about union activities and unionizing. And a lot of them went up and protested. They hung those blue fists on their office walls [to show solidarity with union protestors] … At the same time, if you had some opposing viewpoints that you wished to express, it was absolutely not allowed.”

Well.

John Chisholm.

Sometimes I think Leftists like Penzey don't really buy their own garbage. They can't possibly see it this way, right?

An attempt to drag Wisconsin out of debt is construed to be an attack on the value of teachers.

Positively idiotic.

Some teachers are good guys. Some are not. Being employed as a teacher doesn't automatically make one a hero, not even close.

Penzey's goofy suck-up to teachers, in an effort to sell a "Teachers Gift Box," is so lame.

April Kay Smith, Germantown Kindergarten Teacher - Vandalism

April Kay Smith, 38, is a kindergarten teacher in the Germantown School District.

The public school teacher is accused of vandalizing the Jefferson County Republican Party booth at the Jefferson County Fair.

April Kay Smith, 38, a kindergarten teacher in the Germantown School District, was issued a disorderly conduct citation for tearing up and stomping on several signs on July 9 at the Jefferson County Republican Party booth after the fair had shut down for the night, according to a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department report obtained by Wisconsin Reporter.

The incident report, filed by Jefferson County Deputy Heather Larson, states that Smith and her husband, Andrew Smith, 31, originally lied to the officer, despite the fact that a witness, Roxane Stillman, 62, of rural Madison, reported seeing Smith destroy the signs. Stillman, in a July 23 story, told Wisconsin Reporter she followed the suspect around the fairgrounds for more than a half hour, calling out for a police officer.

“… (April Smith) confessed to damaging and ripping out the signs. She stated her husband told her to lie and that she’s just so angry with (Gov) Scott Walker due to the fact that she was a school teacher,” the deputy wrote in the incident report.

So public school teacher April Smith admits to disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer.

What a role model!

I would not want my child to be in her class. I would not want my little kindergartener to be in the care of someone like April Smith.

...The Jefferson County GOP first made the matter public on conservative talk show host Vicki McKenna’s show a few days after the incident.

Stillman said she and her friend were enjoying some kettle corn on a bench across from the Jefferson County Republican Party booth when she said she saw a young woman who looked to be in her late 20s or early 30s at the booth. She said the woman squatted down, like she was relieving herself, and then began smashing up the signs.

Stillman called out to the woman, telling her to wait, that she was going to call the police. The woman started walking away — then she started running, Stillman said.

“I said, ‘Honey, I’m good for about five miles. If you want to run, that’s OK. I’ll stay with you,’” Stillman said. “When she realized she wasn’t going to outrun me she started walking fast all over the fairgrounds trying to ditch me. Everywhere we walked, I yelled out, “Someone get the police! This lady damaged property.”

Stillman claims that, at one point in the chase, the woman grabbed her arm, squeezed it hard and said, “You must like the Koch brothers!”

When Larson arrived at the scene, the deputy asked Smith about Stillman’s allegations, according to the incident report. Smith told the deputy she had “no idea” what the witness was talking about, the deputy reported.

...“I advised her again that I believe she was being untruthful and asked her how she would feel if one of her students lied to her,” Larson wrote in the report. “At this time, she confessed to damaging and ripping out the signs.

...An official from the Germantown School District told Wisconsin Reporter early Monday that the district will be conducting an internal investigation into the matter and will release a statement at a later time.

April Smith is not fit to teach young children. I don't see how the Germantown School District could permit her to remain in her current position.

The woman admitted to destroying property. She obviously was aware that she was in public and committing vandalism. She knew she was making a very public statement via her actions. Then, she lied about it.

"Koch brothers" -- good grief!

I would hope the parents of the students assigned to April Smith's class for the upcoming school year would demand a different teacher for their little ones.

Smith doesn't appear stable enough to be entrusted with teaching kindergarten. The woman lacks character.

Do Germantown taxpayers really want to keep this woman on their payroll?

I suspect the Germantown School District plans to do little more than give April Smith a slap on the wrist, UNLESS parents and taxpayers strongly object.

In any event, I'm sure this incident won't mean the end of April Smith's teaching career. I think the Milwaukee Public Schools would gladly employ someone like April Smith.

Roxane Stillman deserves a lot of credit for her effort to hold April Smith accountable. She is a good role model.

John Doe II Halted - Again

The heads of John Chisholm, DEMOCRAT, and his band of hunters must be spinning.

It's tough for people like them when the First Amendment is upheld.

Their hacks in the media have to be disturbed as well. (It might be a good idea to have someone watch Mike Lowe, perhaps take away his belt and shoe laces.)

The investigation into Gov. Scott Walker's 2012 recall campaign and conservative groups that supported him has been halted for the second time in as many days by a federal judge.

U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa on Thursday issued an order in a separate case that allows for his previous order halting the probe to be effective.

A federal appeals court on Wednesday had said Randa's original order Tuesday stopping the investigation was in error because he had yet to rule on whether a separate appeal by prosecutors was frivolous.

Randa said Thursday that the appeal, which was to his ruling that prosecutors are not immune from being sued by Wisconsin Club for Growth, was indeed frivolous. That reinstates his preliminary injunction halting the probe.

I'm glad to see the civil rights of the abused conservatives have been reinstated.

I hope it's not temporary.

Leftists are rejoicing - for now.

The U.S. 7th District Court of Appeals declared yesterday that the witch hunt can continue, screw the First Amendment.

The U.S. 7th District Court of Appeals put a hold on a lower court ruling that would have ended a John Doe investigation into illegal coordination between conservative issue groups and Republican campaigns during the 2012 recall elections.

That hold came late Wednesday afternoon, less than 24 hours after U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa ordered the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office to stop the investigation and destroy all evidence related to it.

...The investigation, known as John Doe II (because it follows the Milwaukee County DA's John Doe investigation into the Milwaukee County Executive's Office), is seen as a possible stumbling block for Governor Walker's reelection campaign if anything damaging is discovered and released to the public.

...John Doe II is seen by many as Democratic gubernatorial frontrunner Mary Burke's best chance to find new ammunition she can use to take Walker down in November.

It is not good that John Doe II is considered Mary Burke's best hope for defeating Governor Walker as he goes for the three-peat.

Mary Burke is the Democrats' problem. (She won't say she'll repeal Act 10, if elected. Shhhh! Don't tell anyone!)

What's really troubling to me is that the appellate court is permitting the infringement of civil rights.

...The 7th District Appeals Court ordered attorneys for Milwaukee County prosecutors to submit a brief on their appeal by June 16th. The hold on the lower court decision will remain in place until the appellate court makes its own ruling, allowing the investigation to continue and allowing prosecutors to hold on to the evidence they've collected.

John Chisholm's so-called John Doe investigation wasn't a factor in Walker's last election, the second time he defeated Tom Barrett in the race for governor.

The so-called John Doe was Tom Barrett's only hope and he went down in flames.

Wisconsinites understand what the Democrats are doing. It's a witch hunt. We didn't buy the insanity the first time. We certainly won't buy it the second time.

I hope the country understands what's happening, that citizens here are being abused and harassed.

Our rights are under attack.
