These numbers are concerning. Shouldn't scientists want to study this and determine what's going on?

As Sen. Ron Johnson explains, "VAERS does not prove causation." It certainly does raise alarms that should be addressed.

Explanations are in order. Lacking such information, it's completely understandable to be COVID vaccine hesitant.

Doctors have finally admitted that the best treatment for the flu is watching The Price Is Right while eating crackers, ending decades-long speculation among local communities that flu medication didn't do anything.

"It's been staring us in the face all along," said Dr. Cole Coffinstein, slapping his head in disbelief. "In medical school, they teach you about all of the remedies for influenza, but nope, all you have to do is cozy up in front of the TV, eat some crackers, and maybe sip on a little Sprite. It's so simple!"

Doctors advise that the more episodes of CBS' long-running game show you watch the better you'll feel and that any variety of crackers is acceptable. According to studies, episodes with host Bob Barker appear to have approved efficacy, but Drew Carey is also acceptable if you have no alternative.

"It is the consensus of the medical community that there's something about the combination of sound effects, gentle host banter, and price-guessing mechanisms of the show that work together with crackers to generate flu-fighting antibodies," said Dr. Coffinstein. "We need to conduct further research into exactly why this is."

It's impossible to follow the science when the data are so messed up. The 2020 - 2021 flu season numbers deserve a giant asterisk.

Twenty thousand Americans have died of the FLU this season. One hundred thirty-six children have died of the FLU.

Why weren't large gatherings cancelled?

Why weren't there travel warnings for seniors and children and those with health conditions?

Why weren't there warnings to avoid crowds and stockpile supplies?

What about quarantines?

Twenty thousand dead and the stock market didn't tank. It was skyrocketing.

The KILLER FLU didn't prevent people from living their lives and going about their business. People weren't working from home. No one felt the need to load up on toilet paper, water, and canned soup. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes were plentiful even though this KILLER FLU was circulating among us.

If the sky is falling because of COVID-19, then we should be used to it.

The sky falls every flu season and nobody cares.

Interesting statistic that I just learned during the press conference which was very meaningful to me as a parent of 5 young children.

For children and the non-elderly the coronavirus is actually less deadly than the common flu.

That’s a big deal!
