Bucks, NBA, and Obama - HYPOCRITES

Mary Burke and Michael Brown, Dontre Hamilton, Trayvon Martin

This is so offensive.

It does speak of absolute desperation on the part of the Democrats and Mary Burke.

They will do anything to get out the Democrat vote in Milwaukee.

From PJ Media:
With Democrat Mary Burke increasingly desperate to the point of panic, given the recent revelations of her mendacity concerning her career at her family business, and the embarrassment of President Obama’s flop at North Division High School in Milwaukee’s inner city, both of which preceded news that the prestigious and generally very accurate Marquette University Law School poll shows her trailing Governor Scott Walker by a full seven percentage points among those voters who will walk over broken glass, if necessary, to get to the polls, a new flyer exploits the deaths of three young black men and perverts history in an attempt to shore up her numbers in Wisconsin’s African-American community.

The recently produced flyer, seen above, targets the black community. The flyer has gone viral since it was first seen in Wisconsin, then shot across the Internet, from Arizona-based radio host James T. Harris, to Wisconsin’s Daily Independent. The flyer shows photos of Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, and Dontre Hamilton; under each is a caption saying, e.g., “Michael Brown can’t vote,” with the overall slogan: “Don’t let anyone silence your voice. Vote Nov. 4th.”
I miss James T. Harris, but I'm glad to see that he's still making a difference here in Wisconsin.

Demetrius Glenn and Kenan Adams-Kinard

One suspect, Demetrius Glenn, 16, is in custody for the beating murder of Delbert Belton, an 88-year-old World War II vet.

Kenan Adams-Kinard, 16, is the other suspect in the brutal killing. As of late Friday night, he remains at large.

Glenn and Adams-Kinard allegedly killed Belton with flashlights. They bludgeoned him to death. How could they?

Are they completely without a conscience?

Animals.

Look at them. Evil incarnate.

From the Daily Mail:

Thursday night, police arrested Demetrius Glenn, 16, in connection to the slaying of 88-year-old Delbert Belton, who was savagely beaten with flashlights in the parking lot of his regular bar in Spokane on Wednesday.

...Friday afternoon, authorities named a second suspect in the killing, identified as 16-year-old Kenan Adams Kinard. He currently remains at large.

Police told Belton's daughter-in-law, Bobby, that he was beaten with heavy flashlights in the assault which left him bleeding 'from every part of his face'.

Witnesses to the attack said that Belton, who was going to play pool, was outside the Eagles Lodge at around 8pm when two male suspects set upon him.

A friend said the veteran had just pulled up and was waiting for a female friend so she didn't have to walk in alone.
This is horrific. Two 16-year-olds killed an 88-year-old with flashlights. They beat him so savagely that he died.
...Glenn faces a first-degree murder charge and one count of robbery. The local station KHQ reported that he will be tried as an adult.

The teen has an extensive juvenile criminal history, which includes malicious mischief, fourth-degree assault, driving without a license and riot with a deadly weapon charges.

Adams-Kinard also has had a few run-ins with the law, The Spokesman Reviewreported. He was convicted of third-degree theft and fourth-degree assault in June.

Police Chief Frank Straub said Adams-Kinard should be considered a threat to the community and should not be contacted. He urged anyone who sees him or has information on his whereabouts to call 911 at once.

Glenn turned himself in to police custody through his attorney just before 10pm Thursday. Officers noticed that the teen had an abrasion on his right hand, according to an affidavit.
So these thugs were known threats to the community, yet they were out on the street.

It's a tired, old question, but here it is: Where were their parents?

...Glenn, who spells his first name as 'Demetruis' on social media sites, described himself on his Twitter account in this manner: 'I Play Foot-ball,Run Tracc [sic],Get Money Do What i do,im a guy but i like the show keeping up with the kardashians.'
Glenn needs to update his profile. He should add cold-blooded killer of an elderly man.

According to Spokane Police Chief Frank Straub, the murder wasn't racially motivated.

Neither was the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman case. That didn't stop the race-baiters, including Obama, from making it all about race.

However, Straub insists that race is irrelevant in this case. In other words, no talking about race when it comes to Belton. That's off limits.

More details, from KREM 2 News:

Police Chief Frank Straub held a brief press conference Friday about the investigation into the beating death of an 88-year-old World War II veteran. Straub stressed that the beating was not racially motivated.

...Officers arrested Demetrius Glenn, 16, Thursday night in Spokane. He and Kenan Adams-Kinard, 16, do have gang ties according to Straub. Both teenage suspects are African American. However, Straub said the attack was not racially motivated.

...Chief Straub said the two suspects were looking to commit a robbery in North Spokane on Wednesday night near Francis and Lidgerwood. Straub said that instead the suspects beat Belton with a flashlight outside of the Eagles Ice-A-Rena.

...Sources told KREM 2 News that Demetrius Glenn has a lengthy criminal history. He was convicted of assault and riot and was supposed to be in court on August 28th for another charge.

...Court Documents also revealed Friday Belton was found at the scene of the assault lying in his vehicle with his body wedged between the front bucket seats. Detectives said a broken flashlight was recovered in the car.

Investigators said Belton was attacked in the parking lot behind the arena, belonging to the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He had just arrived in his car to play pool with a female friend. A witness said she saw two young men run away from Belton's car.
Glenn and Adams-Kinard showed Belton no mercy.

No comment from the NAACP?

I guess the organization only gets involved in really important matters, like a rodeo CLOWN wearing an Obama mask.

Obama should comment on the killing of Belton. Maybe he could say the victim reminds him of his white grandfather, the man who raised him.

Delbert Belton Beaten to Death By Black Teens

Delbert Belton, an 88-year-old World War II veteran, was beaten to death by two black teens.

From KXLY:

WWII veteran Delbert Belton survived being wounded in action during the Battle of Okinawa only to be beaten and left for dead by two teens at the Eagles Lodge in Spokane on Wednesday evening.

Belton, 88, succumbed to his injuries Thursday morning at Sacred Heart Medical Center.

Witnesses say Belton was in the parking lot of the Eagles Lodge at 6410 N. Lidgerwood, adjacent to the Eagles Ice-A-Rena, around 8 p.m. Wednesday when the two male suspects attacked him as he was about to head inside to play pool.

..."It does appear random. He was in the parking lot, it appears he was assaulted in the parking lot and there was no indication that he would have known these people prior to the assault," Spokane Police Major Crimes Detective Lieutenant Mark Griffiths said.

...Spokane police are looking for two male suspects in the attack. They said the suspects are African Americans between 16 and 19 years old. One suspect was described as heavy set and wearing all black clothing. The other was described as being about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. There was no description of what clothing the second suspect was wearing other than a silk do-rag.
Here's yet another horrific senseless murder perpetrated by black teens.

The thugs have no respect for life. They're animals.

The killing of Belton follows the murder of Christopher Lane, the case about which Obama supposedly knew nothing.

I wonder if Obama will claim to be in the dark on the murder of Belton, too.

We're supposed to believe that Obama doesn't know the lead story on Drudge? The killings of both Chris Lane and Delbert Belton were highlighted on that website. It's impossible to accept that the White House deputy press secretary and Obama wouldn't have a clue.

I wonder if Jesse Jackson will take to Twitter and comment that "this senseless violence is frowned upon."

Yes, our society "frowns upon" an innocent young man being gunned down. Jackson probably would say our society "frowns upon" the fatal beating of an 88-year-old man, too.

"Frowns upon."

That language is thoroughly unacceptable. It's shameful.

It's not OK for Obama to ignore these hate crimes.

The beating of Belton is a problem for Obama and the Leftists. They can't blame guns. They can't exploit this man's death to call for stricter gun laws.

These cold-blooded murderers didn't shoot Belton. They beat him to death, for no apparent reason.

Again, EVIL. They can't claim the evil is loaded in the guns.

And the president of the United States, the same guy who was all over the Trayvon Martin case, to the point of saying "Trayvon Martin could have been me," is silent on the savagery committed by these thugs.

Obama and the other race-baiters can't ignore the fact that young black males are murdering whites. Of course, they are ignoring it, but that's wrong. They insist on focusing on race, so let's do that.

Silence or feigned ignorance or a "frowned upon" comment in reaction to these murders is disgraceful.

Christopher Lane: White House Clueless (Video)

Josh Earnest, White House principal deputy press secretary, gave an absolutely awful response to an excellent question.

Here's video:

From Caroline May, the Daily Caller:

Josh Earnest, principal deputy White House press secretary, said he was not familiar with the murder of Australian jogger Chris Lane during Wednesday’s White House briefing.

When asked by Fox News chief White House correspondent Ed Henry about the Chris Lane case, Earnest responded, “I’m not familiar with it, actually.”
That has to be a lie.
Henry explained the case in brief to Earnest looking for reaction to the Oklahoma shooting death of Lane at the hands of “bored” African-American teens who thought it would be “fun” to kill somebody.

“This sounds like a pretty tragic case. I wouldn’t want to get ahead of the legal process here and it’s clear that law enforcement officials are involved and are investigating,” Earnest said. “But any act of violence is something that — the president I think himself has spoken pretty eloquently about violence in our communities and he stood at this podium a few weeks ago where he talked about his concern about the impact that violence is having on, in particular, young people in this country.”
Oh, nooooo! Don't "get ahead of the legal process." Obama never does that.

Right. What a load!

Henry pressed Earnest, noting that the President spoke about slain teen Trayvon Martin in the Rose Garden and in the briefing room.

“Why hasn’t [the president] spoken out about this? In this case, you said there was a judicial proceeding. There was one in the Trayvon Martin case. He spoke out extensively on that one,” Henry said.

“There are some people in this room I don’t thing who would agree with you that the president spoke out extensively on it,” Earnest responded.
WHAT? That is crazy.

Obama didn't speak out extensively on Trayvon Martin?

Oh, come on!

Obama knows he has control of the Leftist media. They'll do their best to bury the Lane case.

Disgraceful.

Chris Lane Murdered: EVIL

On Monday, a family member asked me if I heard about a murder in Oklahoma.

He said three teens killed a guy because they were bored. Their victim was a baseball player at a university in Oklahoma.

I said I had seen the story linked somewhere but I didn't know anymore about it.

He said the story he read online Monday had few details, including the descriptions of those involved.

I said that if the killers were white or white Hispanic or something that the race-baiters could exploit and the victim was black or Hispanic, then we would know that already. Marches would be in the process of being organized. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would be yapping about it on TV. We both agreed that this story would not bring Obama out to comment the way he shamelessly did with Trayvon Martin.

We didn't know the descriptions of the killers or victim, but we were certain this was not a crime involving a minority victim and white killers. No way.

As it turns out, the victim was white and the alleged murderers are black. In other words, if Obama had a son, he would look like Chancey Luna, 16, or James Edwards, 15.

From the New York Post:

Three teenage boys were charged in the killing of an Australian university student in Oklahoma "for the fun of it," prosecutors said on Tuesday

Christopher Lane, of Melbourne, was found dead of a gunshot wound on Friday, according to police in Duncan, Oklahoma, about 80 miles south of Oklahoma City.

“They followed him, shot him in the back and drove off,” Duncan, Okla., police chief Danny Ford said yesterday.

“When asked why he [a 17-year-old suspect] did it, he said, ‘We were bored and decided to kill somebody.’”

According to police, Jones admitted that the teens decided to kill someone "for the fun of it."

Charged with first-degree murder are Chancey Allen Luna, 16, and James Francis Edwards Jr., 15. Michael Dewayne Jones, 17, who allegedly drove the vehicle carrying the other suspects, was charged with use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and accessory to murder after the fact, according to the Stephens County District Attorney's office.

...According to police, Jones told police on Sunday that they saw Lane jogging and decided he would be their target. Police said the three followed him in their vehicle and shot Lane in the back, police said.

Police used surveillance video from area businesses to identify the vehicle, which was found later at a church parking lot with the three suspects inside after a caller reported three youths with guns who were threatening to kill someone.

The vehicle's trunk contained a shotgun with the serial numbers sanded off, but the actual weapon used in the shooting has not been found, police said.
These cold-blooded murderers are animals.

They deserve no sympathy whatsoever.

Targeting someone for death out of boredom is beyond horrific. Murdering a random individual "for the fun of it" is positively evil.

This terrible crime should receive more attention than the Trayvon Martin case did.

There was no struggle, no issue of self-defense.

The murder of Chris Lane was an evil act.

It may have been grounded in racism.

If choosing an individual to kill "for fun" isn't a hate crime, nothing is.

Moreover, a gun didn't kill Chris Lane. Luna, allegedly, did.

Obama, say something. Say something about the brutality of these thugs.

NAACP, demand an investigation. That won't happen, those goofs are too busy fixating on a rodeo clown and destroying him. A CLOWN in a mask is an outrage. Black teens murdering a white young man "for the fun of it" isn't worth their time.

I'm sure the murder of Chris Lane won't get anywhere near the attention the rodeo clown completely idiotic story received.

I wonder. If Luna had Skittles in his pocket when he was picked up, would that make a difference? Would he seem less evil?

Not in my opinion.

These thugs are animals.

Too harsh?

Not in my opinion.

No human being with a conscience and a heart commits murder for fun or to relieve boredom.

These thugs are evil.

Bob Donovan: Outrage

Alderman Bob Donovan asks, "Where's the outrage?"

Good question.

That is the question.

Where's the outrage?

Donovan writes:

Where’s the Outrage?
Wake Up Milwaukee!

Statement from Alderman Bob Donovan
July 29, 2013

While some may argue that we should aspire to emulate Chicago in certain ways, violence shouldn’t be one of them. We certainly had a red letter weekend in Milwaukee – 12 shootings and still counting. Where’s the outrage? Or has violence and dysfunction become the norm in certain neighborhoods?

I for one am not at all satisfied with the level of public safety in Milwaukee and neither should anyone else be. If anyone disagrees with me, all I can say is that we must subscribe to different standards. You see, I remember the Milwaukee that once was and it sickens me to see what we’re becoming.

Allow me to elaborate...

July has been a rather challenging month beginning with a very violent 4th of July weekend. We then had numerous shootings throughout the month resulting in several deaths. It’s actually become difficult to keep track of it all because one shooting seems to roll into the next.

Two weeks ago we had an out of control mob brawling in the middle of the day, resulting in a 17-year-old being shot. We also had several vicious home invasions on the south side culminating in robbery and rape, in addition to all the violence and heartbreak that this last weekend brought. Couple all of this with a completely out of control drug trade in Milwaukee, an increasing number of Milwaukee’s youth having little or no regard or respect for the police, ongoing human trafficking and rampant prostitution, street robberies and vandalism, and you end up with a crime rate, per capita, that is higher than New York City and Los Angeles!

The current number of police officers is so low that if you call 911 you can end up waiting hours for a squad (and this is for serious crimes like your house being burglarized, not for a cat up a tree). What’s worse is that there is no plan whatsoever for filling our ever increasing police vacancies. No plan – period. This administration seems more interested in crime stats than in the big picture. I could go on and on.

None of what I have stated should be considered as an indictment of our hardworking men and women of the Milwaukee Police Department. Given all the challenges they face, they are doing the best they can with limited resources.
While Milwaukee faces many challenges, restoring public safety has got to be priority one, for without it, nothing else positive can occur.

Let’s not lose sight of the fact that lives are being snuffed out here and all too often it’s the lives of young people (some of our victims have barely reached puberty!). Families are left devastated and residents are left in fear.

Has this kind of violence and loss become so commonplace that it has somehow become perversely acceptable? Have our standards really declined to such an extent? Where’s the outrage?

All I could do is shake my head Sunday morning after watching the news and seeing the response of the mayor and Chief Flynn to this weekend’s devastating violence. They held a press conference and a street roll call. Does anyone really believe that these ever increasing stale roll call media shows accomplish anything? These displays do nothing more than allow the mayor and the Chief an opportunity to create the false impression that progress is being made. Two days later the neighborhood is back to business as usual.

During the press conference the Chief urged citizens to call the police when they see “trouble brewing.” The reality is that those folks have already been calling but all too often their concerns are met with a less than stellar response on the other end of the line. Citizens are often given the third degree, and after all that they are told that there are no squads available or their issue doesn’t sound that serious and they should call back if things escalate. Two or three responses like that and it’s easy to see why people get discouraged and stop calling.

During this press conference the mayor also urged parents and kids to comply with the curfew ordinances. While discussing curfew may be laudable, our problems go way beyond that Mr. Mayor. The reality is that we’re not living in Mayberry and we’re not talking about Wally and the Beaver misbehaving here. What we are talking about is drug dealers, gang bangers and thugs controlling some of our Milwaukee neighborhoods. We’re talking about decent, law-abiding citizens (many of whom are seniors) who have become prisoners in their own homes. None venture out at night and some not even during the day.

What we have now is a Milwaukee Police Department that is overworked and understaffed and when faced with all these current challenges, simply can’t keep up (which has resulted in morale landing in the gutter). What is being done about these issues? Please Mr. Mayor, tell me that Milwaukee isn’t pinning all its hope on curfew compliance. Where is the outrage?

Now I realize that many community groups and elected officials including the mayor are engaged in any number of worthwhile efforts. Youth diversion programs, mentoring efforts, the fatherhood initiative and cease fire Sabbaths are all well and good, but they are simply not enough and not necessarily the role of local government. Enforce the law and apprehend and punish the law breakers and keep our neighborhoods safe.

Other cities have faced the same challenges head on. They created the coalitions and partnerships needed to secure the resources necessary to confront these public safety issues and they’ve made the difficult decisions. They also had what Milwaukee seems to be lacking in – strong leadership. I point once again to New York City and the New York miracle. Why not Milwaukee? I say again, why not Milwaukee?

Yet sadly, over the years, Milwaukee has been saddled with far too many civic leaders both in government and in the private sector who have displayed little more than indifference and timidity in dealing with this most serious issue. Where is the outrage?

While our public officials can find the time and resources to move forward with a downtown streetcar or can debate building a new arena or the development of a plan for the future of the Art Museum and War Memorial, they seem utterly paralyzed when it comes to addressing the most serious issue facing our city – the violence that is both figuratively and literally killing Milwaukee.

We all should be outraged! Wake up Milwaukee, the clock is ticking.
Milwaukee has many problems. The city's rapid decay is tragic.

It's especially frustrating to witness its decline as leaders yap about a useless street car and focus on a killing in Florida rather than the epidemic of murder and shootings and other violent crime on Milwaukee's streets.

The reason those problems aren't being addressed: POOR LEADERSHIP.

The buck stops with Mayor Tom Barrett.

I think Milwaukee would be a very different place if Bob Donovan were mayor.

It would be a better place to live and work.

Barrett has been a disaster. Why are Milwaukeeans content to stick with a status quo that's nothing but snowballing failure?

Donovan's philosophy is like that of Mayor Rudy Giuliani, the man behind turning around New York City. I thought that Ed Flynn shared that philosophy. That's what he said when he became Milwaukee's police chief. I suppose he's limited by the resources he has.

Barrett's philosophy? Focus on silly projects as the city dies. That's not an effective plan. Whistling past the graveyard is not a plan. Barrett is failing Milwaukee.

What did we think would happen if we allowed a culture of dependence and victimhood to take root? What did we think would happen when intact family units, strong parents, and respect for authority were replaced with thug culture?

The violence and decay was inevitable.

All hope is gone if residents are willing to tolerate the rapid decline of the city. Where's the outrage?

Too busy holding a Trayvon Martin march?

As Donovan says, "Wake up, Milwaukee!"

Obama Era Race Relations

Have race relations improved in the Obama era?

When Obama was elected in 2008, wasn't America declared to be "post-racial," thanks to savior Obama delivering us from evil?

Well, Obama has done nothing to unite the country. I have no memory of a more intentionally divisive president, stoking flames of racial conflict.

Obama had an incredible opportunity to encourage minorities to take responsibility for the direction of their lives. He squandered that. It's possible he never intended to be a role model, to take his historic position and make things better.

His first summer in office, he revealed that he had far more in common with professional race-baiters Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton than an American leader like Abraham Lincoln. Obama's reckless racially charged statements about an incident in Cambridge resulted in the utterly embarrassing "Beer Summit." Obama stumbled and bumbled, proving he wasn't the brilliant man he was made out to be. He wasn't wise. He was a run-of-the-mill agitator, bent on dividing to hold on to political power.

From MRC TV:

MRCTV's Dan Joseph went to one of the national "Justice for Trayvon' Rallies in Washington DC and asked participants whether they thought race relations in the United State have improved or gotten worse, since President Obama took office.

The consensus seems to be race relations are worse in the U.S., but it's not Obama's fault. He bears no responsibility whatsoever.

His followers give him a pass on absolutely everything. He can do no wrong. Ever.

Obama: People Lock Car Doors, James Woods Responds

OBAMA:

You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago. And when you think about why, in the African American community at least, there’s a lot of pain around what happened here, I think it’s important to recognize that the African American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that doesn’t go away.

There are very few African American men in this country who haven't had the experience of being followed when they were shopping in a department store. That includes me. There are very few African American men who haven't had the experience of walking across the street and hearing the locks click on the doors of cars. That happens to me -- at least before I was a senator. There are very few African Americans who haven't had the experience of getting on an elevator and a woman clutching her purse nervously and holding her breath until she had a chance to get off. That happens often.

Actor James Woods responds to Obama's "car doors" remark:

Woods tweeted some other thoughts about Obama in the wake of his remarks about Trayvon Martin yesterday.

For example:

I wish Obama would focus on the economy rather than race-baiting and dividing the country.

His agenda to polarize Americans is a disgrace.

John Spooner: Sane

The jury decided yesterday that John Spooner was not suffering from a mental disease or defect at the time he shot and killed 13-year-old Darius Simmons.

Video, from FOX6 News:

A Milwaukee County jury has reached a verdict in the second phase of the John Spooner murder trial. After less than 15 minutes, it ruled unanimously on Friday, July 19th that Spooner did not suffer from a mental disease or defect when he shot and killed 13-year-old Darius Simmons.

The jury’s verdict is what Patricia Larry was waiting to hear. She is the mother of Simmons.

“I want to thank God. And I want to thank Mr Williams. He did a wonderful job and I like to thank the community, family and friends and justice was served,” said Larry.

...The jury’s decision that Spooner did not suffer from a mental disease at the time of the shooting means Spooner will go to prison instead of a mental institution. He is expected to be sentenced on Monday, July 22nd.
Once again, this case bears no resemblance to the Trayvon Martin - George Zimmerman case.

There will be no marches or rallies declaring the verdict unjust, no petitions demanding Eric Holder intervene.

No idiocy from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. No lame statements or lectures from Obama, drawing parallels between Simmons and himself. No calls from Obama for a "national conversation" on race.

A crime was committed. There was a trial. The process played out. Spooner will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.

Justice was served.

Isn't it amazing that could happen in a racist country like the United States?

Obama: 'Trayon Martin Could Have Been Me'

Obama made a surprise appearance at today's White House press briefing. How thrilling!

He commented on the Trayvon Martin - George Zimmerman case.

From Breitbart's Big Government:

Speaking at the White House on Friday, President Obama addressed the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial for the killing of Trayvon Martin for the first time since 2012, when he declared that if he had a son, he’d look like Martin. This time, Obama said, “Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago.”

Obama added that he had experienced racial profiling personally: "There are very few African-American men who haven't had the experience of being followed in a department store — that includes me."

Obama also said, “Reasonable doubt was relevant, and they rendered a verdict. Once the jury's spoken, that's how our system works.”

Obama said he was "bouncing around" ideas with his staff on how to respond to the Zimmerman verdict, adding, "I think it is going to be important for us to do some soul searching." Pushing against Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law, Obama stated, "If Trayvon Martin was of his age and armed, could he have stood his ground on that sidewalk?"

Finally, Obama went into the racial complexities of the Martin situation: "A lot of African-American boys are painted with a broad brush...If a white male teen was involved in the same kind of scenario, both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different." He did say, "As difficult and as challenging as this whole episode has been, I don't want us to lose sight that things are getting better...We're becoming a more perfect union, not a perfect union, but a more perfect union."
Oh, God.

This guy is shameless. He's such a divider.

Really a disgrace.

When Obama says "Trayvon Martin could have been me," does he mean he could have been on the road to becoming the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES?

Poor downtrodden Obama. We're such a racist nation.

"If a white male teen was involved in the same kind of scenario, both the outcome and the aftermath might have been different."

Disgusting. Did Al Sharpton write Obama's comments?

Love this tweet from Right Wisconsin:

Jesse Jackson: Boycott Florida, Apartheid State

Jesse Jackson wants a boycott of Florida. Yes, the state of Florida.

Video here.

As a response to the Trayvon Martin case and Florida's stand your ground law Jessie Jackson is calling for a boycott of the state:

"No doubt, the inclination is to boycott Florida, stop conventions, to isolate Florida as a kind of apartheid state..."
Oh, good grief.

What a loon!

Jackson and his fellow race-baiters should be marching in Washington and demanding that Obama do something about the economy.

Jackson should call for a boycott of the failed policies of the Leftists. Boycott Democrats. Boycott Obama and his flunkies.

John Spooner and Darius Simmons (Video)

The John Spooner case is nothing like the George Zimmerman case.

That isn't stopping the media and others from drawing parallels.

From Mediaite:

With the George Zimmerman murder trial over, the cable news industry will likely moving on to other stories any day now. This evening on Fox, Shepard Smith brought up a trial happening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that is “so similar to the Zimmerman case that the judge in this new trial warned the jury don’t even think about what happened in Florida.”

Lawyers in the murder trial of 76-year-old John Spooner apparently had trouble finding jurors whose views of the case have not been tainted by the Zimmerman coverage. Spooner is on trial for shooting and killing a 13-year-old African-American kid named Darius Simmons. But as Fox reporter Gregg Jarrett explained, Spooner is not claiming self-defense, but rather that “mental illness drove him to mistakenly believe that his young neighbor had stolen some guns from his home” and that “he didn’t intend to kill” Simmons. In this case, there is surveillance video of Spooner shooting the young boy, who had his hands up, multiple times.
Darius Simmons was killed by John Spooner.

This was not a case of self-defense at all.

Spooner had no reason to fear for his life. Simmons wasn't bashing Spooner's head on concrete.

Surveillance video shows Spooner shooting Simmons, point-blank.

From FOX6 News:

Opening statements began Tuesday, July 16th in the trial for 76-year-old John Spooner. Spooner is accused in the shooting death of 13-year-old Darius Simmons.

In court on Tuesday, surveillance video was shown, allowing jurors to see the incident as it happened.

The state alleges Spooner shot and killed Darius Simmons on May 31st, 2012 while Simmons’ mother watched.

Spooner is accused of confronting Simmons as he was taking out the trash.

Spooner reported his home was burglarized and items were taken — including some shotguns. Officials say Spooner reportedly believed his next-door neighbor, Simmons, was to blame.

The surveillance video was captured by cameras mounted on Spooner’s own home.

Spooner told police on the day of the shooting that in recent years, he was beaten, had a lung removed due to cancer, lost his wife, and his house had just been burglarized, with four of his shotguns having been stolen. Spooner said at the time, he was at his breaking point.

Surveillance video shows Spooner’s neighbor, Simmons coming outside to take in a garbage cart in the morning of May 31st.

Spooner believed Simmons stole his guns, and confronted him, pointing a pistol at the boy. The two have a brief confrontation before Spooner fires twice at close range, killing Simmons.

Witnesses, from neighbors to the garbage man also saw it happen.

Milwaukee Alderman Bob Donovan testified he spoke with Spooner before the murder, running into him at a restaurant. Spooner told him he was not happy with the police investigation into his burglary.

“To the best of my knowledge, John said there were other ways of dealing with situations like this,” Alderman Donovan said.

In opening statements, the prosecution explained the two steps of the trial. One, jurors will decide if Spooner murdered Simmons. If yes, they will decide whether he suffers from a mental disease or defect.

What Spooner did is indefensible. That's probably why it's being argued he suffers from a mental disease or defect.

There is video of what happened.

I don't see similarities between Spooner and Zimmerman.

Spooner wasn't beaten. There is no doubt that he wasn't in a struggle to save his own life. Nonetheless, he took the life of Darius Simmons.

The Leftist media aren't doctoring 911 calls. Prosecutors aren't overreaching. There isn't a nationwide, orchestrated effort to paint Spooner as a racist. Obama didn't say if he had a son he'd look like Darius Simmons.

Where are the similarities?

There's no reason to trump up the incident. There's video.

Spooner's defense claims he didn't mean to kill Simmons.

What did he think would happen when he shot him in the chest?

Spooner's own surveillance video shows that he came out of his house, then shot and killed Simmons.

It's hard to imagine anyone coming to a different conclusion.

Is the elderly Spooner mentally impaired?

I have no idea. The jury will decide after hearing the evidence.

If he is found to be so severely impaired that he didn't understand shooting a boy in the chest could kill him, then I don't think Spooner will be set free.

Bottom line: The cases are dramatically different.

Leno: Talib Kweli with Nelly, Abby Dobson - Trayvon Martin Tribute (Video)

Jay Leno's Tonight Show on Tuesday ended with a Trayvon Martin tribute.

The musical performance by Talib Kweli featuring Nelly and Abby Dobson of "Before He Walked" was a hoodie fest.

Here's video:

The song ended with raised fists and a dedication to Trayvon.

When Leno came over, he could be heard saying what a great tribute it was to Trayvon Martin.

I really wasn't paying attention. I didn't look up at the TV until I heard "Trayvon."

Not speaking about this performance specifically, but in general, I don't like this time travel experience. It's so bizarre. We are not living in the America of the 1960s and prior in terms of race relations.

Rachel Jeantel, Piers Morgan, the N-Word (Video)

I wasn't aware that the N-word, in any form, was acceptable.

According to "star witness" Rachel Jeantel, the N-word when said with an "a" rather than "er" is not a racist word.

It means "any kind of male."

Jeantel explains the usage to Piers Morgan.

Here's video:

Hmmm.

I don't think so.

I'm not comfortable with that.

Maybe Obama, the alleged post-racial president, should tell us if it's OK. Barack "let me be clear" Obama should clarify. Jay Carney could pass along Obama's ruling.

Confused about "cracka" and "cracker."

Here's more from Jeantel.

She explained that the term is actually spelled “cracka” and defined it as “people who are acting like they’re police.” She said that if Zimmerman had calmly approached Martin and introduced himself, her friend would have politely said what he was doing there and nothing more would have happened.

Unlike the juror, Jeantel did think Zimmerman was racially motivated. “It was racial,” she said. “Let’s be honest, racial. If Trayvon was white and he had a hoodie on, would that happen?” She said she “had a feeling it was going to be not guilty” not because of the racial makeup of the jury, but because of the way the testimony went.

Jeantel insisted that Martin was “creeped out” and believed Zimmerman was following him, even worrying that he might be a “rapist.” She asked, “For every boy or every man who’s not that kind of way, seeing a grown man following them, would they be creeped out?”
So a "cracka" is someone acting like "they're police."

It's has nothing to do with race.

Hmmm.

Milwaukee Man Beaten: 'This Is For Trayvon Martin'

UPDATE: Breitbart takes the story national.
__________________

I hope the Al Sharpton/Jesse Jackson race-baiters, Leftist media, Democrats, and Obama are happy.

They've exploited the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman case to create racial dissension and incite violence.

They are irresponsible, disgraceful people. Real sickos.

A Wauwatosa man claims to be a victim of the trial's fall-out.

Here's video from FOX6 News:

Milwaukee police are investigating a battery that happened near 26th and Cherry around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 14th.

A 34-year-old Wauwatosa man told police that he was walking through Tiefenthaler Park from a friend’s house when he was punched in the back of the head by an unknown suspect, knocking him down. The victim says that several other suspects then punched and kicked him. Officials say the victim further alleges that he heard one of the suspects refer to Trayvon Martin as they were striking him.

The victim is 34-year-old Christopher. FOX6 News is withholding his last name because he says he fears for his safety.

“I get hit from behind, I get spun around, and then I get tackled and knocked to the ground. This lasted at least five minutes before I blacked out. I woke up and I remember thinking ‘is this ever going to end?’” Christopher told FOX6 News.

Christopher says it’s the last thing he heard that made him want to share his story.

“One of the guys who hit me said: ‘this is for Trayvon,’” Christopher said.

The suspects fled and the Christopher was conveyed to a hospital where he was treated for his injuries and released. The investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects in custody.

“I could have been killed. I think it’s important that people hear about this story and maybe they think twice before they go and do this to somebody,” Christopher said.

...T.J. Jackson witnessed the incident.

“The guy was coming from around the corner here and several individuals dressed in black — bunch of kids, ain’t no grown men, a bunch of children — came out and jumped on the guy, screamed, ‘Trayvon Martin’ and got out of there before the police could come,” Jackson said.

...Meanwhile, Christopher, who says he has no racial prejudice, points out it was a black man who stopped the attack and called 911.

“I remember him holding my arm the whole time until the police showed up. He said, ‘I got this, nothing more is going to happen to you.’ We need to come together to come through this Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman thing. because if we decide to do what happened to me, it’s not going to solve anything. It’s going to drive the wedge even further,” Christopher said.

This is nuts.

Black women assaulted street performer Cassandra Struve because she's a white woman.

Christopher claims he was beaten because he's white. A witness to the beating tells the same story.

A broken hand and a concussion are serious injuries.

Thugs.

Good job, Al Sharpton and Obama and all the other race-baiters inciting hate.

Trayvon Martin Cartoon

From Twitchy: Lib journalists shower praise on absurd Trayvon Martin cartoon.

Adrian Carrasquillo:

Powerful Cartoon Captures Fears Of Many Parents Of Non-White Children After Zimmerman Verdict
David Beard:
Simple - and devaatating - @laloalcaraz cartoon after #zimmermanverdict h/t @RealAdrianC
Juana Summers:
heartbreak. RT @dabeard: Simple - and devaatating - @laloalcaraz cartoon after #zimmermanverdict h/t @RealAdrianC

Here's the cartoon that the lib journalists have found so moving:

The reality is every time we part with our children, or anyone we love, there's no guarantee we will see them again. However, for most kids, it's extremely unlikely they will meet a fate similar to that of Trayvon Martin.

Nonetheless, the cartoon suggests that a parent should worry that a good kid won't make it home alive when going out to buy snacks. In America, chances are black kids wearing hooded sweatshirts will get shot and die.

How ridiculous!

It reminds me of the idiotic statement Michelle Obama made on 60 Minutes, February 11, 2007.

She said, "[A]s a black man, you know, Barack can get shot going to the gas station, you know."

She made it sound like African-Americans are routinely being shot at gas stations and on American streets simply because of their race.

Crazy!

The Trayvon Martin cartoon depicts a similar scenario.

If you're black, prepare to be killed.

Bottom line: The cartoon distorts the facts of the trial of George Zimmerman. It instills unjustified fear.
It's utterly irresponsible. No wonder the Leftists like it.

George Zimmerman Not Guilty

George Zimmerman was found not guilty, but it's hard to view him as a free man.

From FOX News:

George Zimmerman has been acquitted of all charges in the February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla.

The jury of six women informed Judge Debra Nelson shortly before 10 p.m. local time Saturday that they had reached a verdict after deliberating for approximately 15 hours over two days.

Zimmerman, 29, blinked and barely smiled when the verdict was announced. After hearing the verdict, Judge Nelson told Zimmerman he was free to go.
The jury reached a verdict.

Various thugs and the NAACP don't like it.

"Today, justice failed Trayvon Martin and his family," said Roslyn M. Brock, Chairman of the NAACP in a statement. "We call immediately for the Justice Department to conduct an investigation into the civil rights violations committed against Trayvon Martin. This case has re-energized the movement to end racial profiling in the United States."

"We are outraged and heartbroken over today’s verdict," said Benjamin Todd Jealous, President and CEO of the NAACP, in another statement. "We stand with Trayvon’s family and we are called to act. We will pursue civil rights charges with the Department of Justice, we will continue to fight for the removal of Stand Your Ground laws in every state, and we will not rest until racial profiling in all its forms is outlawed."
Good grief.

I'm so sick of all the race-baiting.

Zimmerman has been acquitted. Of course, he must be relieved. That's better news for him than being found guilty and facing decades in prison. But Zimmerman is not free.

His life will be a living hell. Zimmerman haters can take some solace in that.

Threats abound.

From the Right Scoop: DEATH THREAT: Black man tweets photo of himself holding gun, tweets “Zimmerman we comin for yo life bitch”

Absolutely disgusting.

It's tragic that Trayvon Martin is dead. It's awful.

Another tragedy is that race-baiters - including Al Sharpton, the MSNBC crew, thousands on Twitter, and Obama - spread their poison and show no signs of letting up.

I can't stand the way some people are bent on racializing everything. It's so depressing that so many, including the president, insist on dragging us down. It's reprehensible.

I want justice for all, blacks and "white Hispanics" alike.

Trayvon Martin Protests and the DOJ

Justice is blind.

Not in Obama's America.

From the Washington Times:

The legal watchdog Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained documents revealing the Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of the Department of Justice, was deployed to Sanford, Fla., following the death of Trayvon Martin to help organize rallies against George Zimmerman.
From Judicial Watch:
JW filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the DOJ on April 24, 2012; 125 pages were received on May 30, 2012. JW administratively appealed the request on June 5, 2012, and received 222 pages more on March 6, 2013. According to the documents:
  • March 25 – 27, 2012, CRS spent $674.14 upon being “deployed to Sanford, FL, to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.”
  • March 25 – 28, 2012, CRS spent $1,142.84 “in Sanford, FL to work marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain.
  • March 30 – April 1, 2012, CRS spent $892.55 in Sanford, FL “to provide support for protest deployment in Florida.”
  • March 30 – April 1, 2012, CRS spent an additional $751.60 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31.”
  • April 3 – 12, 2012, CRS spent $1,307.40 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford.”
  • April 11 – 12, 2012, CRS spent $552.35 in Sanford, FL “to provide technical assistance for the preparation of possible marches and rallies related to the fatal shooting of a 17 year old African American male.”

...“These documents detail the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “My guess is that most Americans would rightly object to taxpayers paying government employees to help organize racially-charged demonstrations.”
Count me among the Americans objecting to my tax dollars being used to fund racially-charged demonstrations.

The Eric Holder Department of Justice is a disgrace.

The Obama administration is out of control.

Obama: Petraeus, Trayvon Martin, Henry Louis Gates

In his news conference, Obama said he doesn't comment on ongoing investigations, like the David Petraeus scandal. That's his policy.

Oh, really?

BS.

Barack "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon" Obama believes one is innocent until proven guilty?

Clearly, Obama breaks his own policy about staying quiet.

Remember the Henry Louis Gates incident, the Beer Summit?

In a July 2009 news conference, Obama admitted he didn't know all the facts but went on to trash the Cambridge Police Department, declaring "Cambridge police acted stupidly."

Again, that investigation was ongoing, but Obama yapped about it anyway.

What a hypocrite!
