Call Ron Paul

Some of Ron Paul's supporters have stepped over the line.

They lie and weasel their way on to talk radio shows.

Since Paul's supporters are being so disrespectful, it's time to alert Paul's office that the tactics his supporters employ actually make the presidential hopeless hopeful appear to be a quack.

The same goes for his supporters Internet tactics.

I'm sure Paul would appreciate hearing how the pro-Pauls are serving to alienate the Americans that Paul wants to win over.

"...actually make the presidential hopeless appear... "

"He has no chance of winning the Republican nomination. Zero."

"It's time for Paul to drop out of the race. Let him know."

Maybe treat you like an idiot because you are?

Good luck with your little campaign.

Yikes, I bet the phones are melting over at Paul HQ.

Poor, poor Hannity - people call up and get on his crappy radio show. Oh noes!

Please remove the word 'freedom' from this blog title. You have no right to use it, as you are a freedom hating neocon shill.

Anonymous said...

How much did Mitt pay you ?

Elections are bought, but honesty is earned. It is hard to grasp the truth when you have been lied to by bush and the neocons for so long.

I forgive you mary for being so shallow, it's not easy being a puppet.

I just donated another $25 for Ron's b-day, even though I don't have much to spend. Thanks for the motivation!

It doesn't take much to parrot what you hear. Ron Pauls record speaks for itself, of course unless you can't read english.
But then Ignorance is Bliss!

This isn't my "little campaign."

A radio host on a syndicated show with millions and millions of listeners started this effort.

And to the $25 donation "anonymous"--

You're throwing your money away. Can't you see that?

Are you concerned at all that President George W. Bush lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq, and concealed the news that Pat Tillman was killed by friendly fire?

Are you concerned at all that the entire talk radio fraternity concealed the fact that Rush Limbaugh was -- and is -- a brain-damaged opium addict?

I hope that someday your moral strictness toward talk radio callers will be applied to talk radio hosts and their Presidents.

It seems strange to me that people are more concerned about the "supporters" behavior then the candidates belief. Every campaign has it's share of overzealous activists. What are some of you afraid of? Are you afraid that you might actually get some privacy or not have to worry about the fact that the president has no need to use habeas corpus anymore in order to arrest you and even execute you (actually find out what patriot act 2 is about)? Why don't you study the issues and then maybe you will realize what all the zeal is about and the fact that there's more of a chance then you think.

I just find it rather amusing that the only thing many so called "journalists" and bloggers can only point out the few errant supporters but those from the military and some of us who are normal everyday supporters who merely believe in what Ron Paul has to say are just totally ignored along with all the issues that the US is confronting. Confront these issues now or pay for it later. If you really want to know what Ron Paul is really about head over to ronpaul2008.com or ronpaulradio.com and find out for yourself.

Go ahead and insult me. I can take it. I just feel sorry for the intelligence level of those that assume those of us that want to see this country turned back into what it was meant to be are of inferior intelligence. Why look at the big words they use to put us down. rofl

Americans want change in Washington!

The American people are against those in Washington starting illegal preemptive unnecessary wars, spying on the American people, and spending money they do not have (wasting trillions of dollars that our children will have to pay). That is why disproval ratings of Congress and President are at historic lows.

Americans want a leader who actually believes in the Constitution, which is incredibly rare in Washington these days. Remember, the Constitution is the contract between the American people, the States, and the Federal Government.

The American people know that something is very wrong in Washington. The American people want change!

Find out why Ron Paul has over 30,000 registered volunteers. More than all other candidates combined. And more registering now at Meetup.com.

Find out why Ron Paul has the most contributions from U.S. military personnel and veterans above all other candidates.

Just wanted to let you know that I called Ron Paul to encourage him to stay in the race. I told him I was so positive, in fact, that I featured him on my blog two weeks ago. Finally: a Republican who doesn't drink Kool-Aide.

You don't realize what's happening, do you? 'Cause if you did, you'd be shittin' in your shoes, wouldn't you? Quaking with fear? I want ya to look around, just look around, and tell me what you see. A society that's obsessed with feeling good and happy. But underneath that moronic venire lurks a thirst for blood. Yes, my friend, an invidious potential for lawlessness and despair; existential and otherwise. The sooner you weasels open your eyes to the hideous truth, the sooner you wish you were dead.

Ron Paul's brigade of blog posters strikes again.

So many of these comments have a zealousness that's really over the top.

It's really hard to take this stuff seriously.

The fact is the behavior of the supporters is so extreme that Paul the candidate is being overshadowed.

I'm being completely sincere when I say that you must take it down a notch if you want Paul to be considered other than the Kucinich of the Republican Party.

Amazing! I wanna do a Ron Paul post, just so I can get all these Ron Paul spambots to come out of the woodwork. It's so cool!

Like saying "Bloody Mary" 3 times in front of the mirror, in the dark.

As Curt at Flopping Aces put it, they've moved so far to the right, that they are spouting BDS mantra and liberal talking points when it comes to this President.

Mary said...

So true, WS! It's wild!

Anonymous said...

hmm... sounds to me like Mary and WS are jealous. Are you really other pres. hopefuls in disguise? Why are you running around behind all the RP zealots making posts to try to denegrate them? RP has alot of people worried. apparently. because he's not for big government and he'd take some people's funding away. Be honest, it's really a money issue for those that don't like him. Their bread has been being buttered by the political machine and they're worried.

Mary, aren’t you concerned about the lies?

Time to wake up people!

The WordSmith from Nantucket said...

Yes, time to wake up and smell the reality, RPbots!

Ron Paul's understanding of "why they hate us" is a misunderstanding that will get us all killed.

Mary said...

Hey, Bill O'Rights!

Watch this.

Mary, the most horrifying thing is that some people in Washington would use such a tragedy as a false excuse to start false wars against countries that had nothing to do with 911 and were not a threat to us. The result is that these false wars only create more hatred and increase the danger to everybody.

Iraq had nothing to do with 911. They had no WMD's. They were not a threat to us. The war has cost thousands of American soldier lives for no reason. The war was based on lies.

Mary said...

IRAQ WAS NOT BEHIND 9/11. I KNOW THAT.

What 9/11 did was illustrate that radical Islam was waging war with America.

For the love of God, do we really need to go through all of this again?

Is it necessary to pull out all the quotes about Saddam Hussein and the threat he posed to the U.S. from President Bill Clinton and his lackeys?

If Bush lied, then so did Clinton, Albright, Kerry, etc.

If Bush was wrong about WMD, then so was the rest of the free world.

We know that Iraq had and used chemical weapons.

You can't disregard all of that. You can't make that all go away because it's convenient in advancing your agenda. Sorry.

I don't want this war. I don't want any war.

The WordSmith from Nantucket said...

Well, thank you bill O'rights for trotting out the Democrat talking points.

Where did President Bush ever say that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11? Other than the relationship that Mary points out?

The war was based on lies.

Proof, please. Who lied? Lying implies knowingly feeding false information. Where did President Bush lie?

Nantucket,

In this video Bush said “Suddam aids terrorists including members of al-qaeda” (this of course was a lie) Jan 28, 2003
http://youtube.com/watch?v=OgfzqulvhlQ

Ron Paul was able to see through the lies back in 2002. He has the ability to cut through the BS and find the truth.

We need an honest intelligent person of integrity in the White House. We need Ron Paul.

70% of Americans are against the war in Iraq. Ron Paul is the only Republican who can win in the general election. I think we can all agree Ron Paul would be far better than Hillary.

Thanks for the link. But this is still different than the anti-war Democrat talking point, that suggests Saddam had a hand in 9/11. Furthermore, like the wmd question, you have to consider the information we had at the time, and thought to be true. Both this Administration and the previous one thought Saddam posed a danger. And given what we know now, with the translations of Saddam documents and such, there were links between Saddam and al Qaeda. I doubt to the degree that there were operational ties, but the evidence is there.

What do you make of this?

Also, useful links here.

And at Flopping Aces, check Curt's links on "Saddam documents" and "al-Qaeda-Saddam links".

And Saddam was a state-sponsor of terrorism.

Ron Paul was able to see through the lies back in 2002.

Still, what lies? Mistakes and bad information are not "lies". Lying implies that you intentional knew that the information you were giving were false.

Based upon what we knew then, the irresponsible course of action, I felt at the time, and which I don't regret today, is to have left Saddam in power, under the status quo. David Kay and Charles Duelfer, in their full reports, seem to bear this out- that Saddam did pose a danger and made no secrets to his desires to obtain wmds and harm the U.S.

At what point do you treat the cancer upon the world? The last minute?

He has the ability to cut through the BS and find the truth.

There have been a few things that he has said, which I like. But he's a nut. And he's wrong on foreign policy. I'll do a post on it, soon. Come read it, if you'd like.

We need an honest intelligent person of integrity in the White House. We need Ron Paul.

Yes to the first point; no to the latter.

70% of Americans are against the war in Iraq.

Polls, schmolls. I've seen so many bad polling data, I take 'em all with a grain of salt. Like the Zogby exit polls, in 2004. And all those oversampled Democrats in so many polls.

Plus, real leaders need to make decisions because they are the right ones to make; not because they are popular. Wars, by nature, are not popular. But sometimes, they need to be fought; and they need to be won.

Ron Paul is the only Republican who can win in the general election.

No disrespect intended, since you've been very respectful here: but based upon what?!?!

I think we can all agree Ron Paul would be far better than Hillary.

I'll have to get back to you on that one....

But um....maybe.

I think I'd rather stick my head in the sand on that one, frankly.
