Paula Abeles

Paula Abeles volunteered for Hillary Clinton's campaign. Now that Hillary's 2008 presidential dreams are dead, Abeles decided to support John McCain.

According to Abeles, some Barack Obama supporters can't handle that.

ABELES: Essentially 48 hours after I organized a teleconference call for Hillary supporters with John McCain -- and it was a very successful teleconference, we had about 6000 supporters on the line -- I was attacked in the Internet blogs and by Keith Olbermann as a racist. And I have been receiving threats at my home and threats to my children. And you know, I'm all over the Internet as a racist. And, you know, this is the most irresponsible kind of journalism and they've made absolutely no attempt to contact me and, you know, get my side of the story, ask for a comment, anything. And, you know, frankly, I'm just outraged about it.

Some Obama supporters are absolutely rabid.

Their slash-and-burn techniques are stunning.

If you cross the anointed one, you're a racist. Case closed.

Obama claims his campaign isn't about race. If that is indeed the case, he should let his supporters know. It seems they haven't received the memo.
