Obama's Running Mate: Feingold?

The best way for Barack Obama's campaign to put Obama's disastrous weekend performance at a forum at the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California out of the minds of the public is to pretend it didn't happen.

It doesn't help Obama for the conversation today to be about Andrea Mitchell, media bias, and accusations of John McCain violating the "Cone of Silence."

Read what Byron York has to say about the "Cone."

Time for Obama's supporters to drop the "McCain cheated" blathering. Of course, if the libs want to keep digging the hole that they're in, I'm fine with that.

It makes sense for the Obama campaign and the mainstream media arm of the campaign to shift focus back on to speculation about Obama's running mate.

He's likely to announce his decision this week.

So who will be the man or woman chosen by the Chosen One?

Why isn't former presidential candidate Sen. Russ Feingold being mentioned?

Feingold is on board with Obama's infanticide policy.

Feingold has been pushing for retreat and defeat in Iraq as long as Obama.

Feingold has been in the Senate longer than Obama. He has experience without making Obama look too inexperienced. They're both junior senators.

Wisconsin is a battleground state. Feingold could help on that count.

Feingold seems like the perfect fit for Obama.

The only problem is Feingold is friendly with John McCain. Other than that, why not Feingold?
