It's now clear that what ABC aired of Charlie Gibson's interview with Sarah Palin was just part of the story. What viewers saw of the interview was designed to make Palin look bad.
Mark Levin has posted an excerpt from the transcript that illustrates ABC's artful editing.
Gibson and ABC have been revealed as partisan hacks. It's not as if we didn't know, but I still find it amazing that a supposedly reputable news outlet would dare to distort Palin's words and create an entirely false impression.
That EXCLUSIVE interview may have brought in big ratings, but at what price in the long term?
No journalistic integrity.

I can see it now. Charlie is having iced tea on the porch with the Kennedys having a good laugh about all of this.
Put the fork in Charlie. He's done.
Gibson also misconstrues the meaning her quote, and tells her these were her exact words.
She was telling them to pray for our military, THAT our national leaders are sending them out on a task from God.
THAT's what we have to pray for.
This is a common prayer.
Gibson should step down.
GIBSON: You said recently, in your old church, “Our national leaders are sending U.S. soldiers on a task that is from God.” Are we fighting a holy war?
PALIN: You know, I don’t know if that was my exact quote.
GIBSON: Exact words.
Gibson has seriously damaged his credibility. ABC News has also taken a huge hit because of this.
We all know that they are serving Obama.
Their journalistic integrity has been compromised.
