Alec Baldwin won't be replacing Tina Fey in the role of Sarah Palin anytime soon.
In other celebrity/Palin news:
Madonna is clearly not a fan of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
During the U.S. kickoff of her "Sticky and Sweet" tour at the Meadowlands in New Jersey on Saturday night, she shouted: "Sarah Palin can't come to my party. Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal," according to the New York Post's Page Six gossip column.
She also told the crowd, "Here's the sound of Sarah Palin's husband's snowmobile when it won't start," followed by a loud screeching noise.
Meanwhile, there's also buzz that "Saturday Night Live" — which is having a field day with Tina Fey's impersonation of the Alaska governor — is trying to get Palin on the show before the election.
I think media whore Madonna knows that she would get attention by referencing Sarah Palin. That's why she made the comments. She was right.
Moreover, I don't think Madonna's ban on Sarah Palin is really an issue. I doubt that Palin would want to attend Madonna's show. "Nothing personal."
As far as Palin appearing on SNL before the election, I can't imagine her agreeing to go on the show that has worked overtime to degrade her and undermine her candidacy and John McCain's bid for the presidency.
The skit that included several remarks about incest in the Palin family, that her husband Todd is doing her daughters, probably sealed the deal on that one.

I think it drives Granny mad that Mrs. Palin (after FIVE childbirths) is way hotter than she is. ;-)
