Citizen Sandvick

Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn reassigned Milwaukee police detective Mike Sandvick for Election Day.

He specializes in election fraud, so Flynn saw to it that Sandvick wouldn't be involved in any election-related work.

Makek sense? Only if Flynn is on the side of fraud.

But never fear, Sandvick is here!

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Seven absentee ballots were challenged in Milwaukee today, on the basis that they were cast by people who cannot legally vote here, and four of those voters are under criminal investigation, a prosecutor said.

The ballots were challenged this morning by Milwaukee police detective Mike Sandvick, who specializes in election fraud investigations but has taken the day off after his election day assignment was changed by Police Chief Edward Flynn.

Sandvick, a 30-year veteran, challenged the ballots as a private citizen. He said questions about the veracity of the ballots arose during a criminal investigation. He declined further comment.

Assistant District Attorney Bruce Landgraf, who handles election-related cases, confirmed that he is examining the four cases and said they were challenged on the basis of state residency.

"The whole thing continues to be under inquiry," Landgraf said.

Voters who cast the other three disputed ballots have voluntarily withdrawn them, Landgraf said.

The four votes in questions were counted by city officials who are tallying absentee ballots, but they have been marked as "disputed," Landgraf said.

Sandvick is a hero.

The latest:

The seven absentee ballots challenged by a Milwaukee police detective today claimed residency in wards around the city, according to a document from the district attorney's office.

Of the seven challenged, three voters already withdrew their ballots. Four remain that were counted by the city but have been marked as "disputed."

Those four people are under investigation by law enforcement for possible election law violations.

According to the district attorney's office letter, the four under investigation are: Mario R. Yedidia, 23, ward 42; Michael A. Griffin, 22, ward 79; Sze Yian Lee, 23, ward 79; and Christina M. Jens, 28, ward 103.

The three who withdrew their absentee ballots were: Faisal A. Khan, 28, ward 43; M.J. "Max" Maisonrouge, 23, ward 71; and Miles Loren Price, 27, ward 95, the letter said.

Hey! Mayor Tom Barrett! You want "one name"?

This is a drop in the bucket.

The Democrats don't care.

This makes me sick. The election is being undermined and they don't care.
