MSNBC's Contessa Brewer, formerly of TMJ4, really lost it when she was interviewing John Ziegler about the David Letterman - Sarah Palin wars.
From the very beginning, Ziegler got under Brewer's skin. He kept throwing in shots about MSNBC as the Obama network, legitimate shots.
We learned that Brewer has been called slutty, but not by Letterman. Being called slutty didn't bother Brewer. No big deal.
However, Brewer couldn't handle Ziegler's comments about MSNBC and NBC. Bizarre.
It ended with Brewer calling for Ziegler's mic to be cut off. Not exactly very professional.

If you want to see irony in action, watch as the “tingle up the leg” and the “Obama is sort of like God” network challenge John Ziegler on his credibility. Contessa Brewer doesn't want to actually talk about the subject ...

Not exactly very professional? Ziegler opened the interview with a potshot at MSNBC that was completely irrelevant to the segment. VERY PROFESSIONAL.
This blog is exactly what's wrong with American politics. You lump quotes from prominent Democrats in with quotes from terrorists and dictators, while you feel that Ronald Reagan and Mother Teresa equally deserve admiration. Guess what... there are good and bad people in both parties, but most of them are despicable. None of them, however, deserve to be grouped with the likes of Osama bin Laden or Mother Teresa. They're politicians!
Blogs like this are a good example of what happens when people stop thinking for themselves and let loudmouthed apes like Rush Limbaugh do it for them. This blog is an insult to thought. Congrats on maintaining such a turd of faux-journalism.
Brewer was the interviewer. She had the power to call the shots. In my opinion, she didn't handle the situation well. She didn't need to throw her little hissy fit at the end. She should have taken the high road and let the audience pass judgment on Ziegler's behavior.
I don't know why you're bent out of shape over my sidebar. It's quite simple. I have "Wall of Shame" quotes and then a separate section of "Noteworthy Quotations."
Obviously, the quotes in both sections stand alone. The quotes WITHIN a section aren't weighted equally. They can't be compared.
And I think for myself. No one tells me what to believe or how to interpret something.
My site isn't "faux journalism." I don't claim to be a journalist nor do I want to be a journalist.
This blog is just me expressing my opinions, free speech, exercising my rights. Very American.
Regarding the opening comment by Ziegler - the truth hurts, sometimes.
I like you, Mary... It's kinda funny how several press releases concerning this topic have been released and the majority of them make Ziegler out to be the bad guy.
It's obvious that conservatives are treated with a double standard by the media in almost every aspect...
For instance, look how conservative women have been treated by the media over the past couple weeks, compare the abortion doctor murder coverage with the murder of the Arkansas soldier...
A double standard... period.
Thanks for keeping it in perspective, Mary... btw... are you on Twitter? I'd like to follow you... I'm blazingtorch
Thanks, Bryan. I appreciate that.
No, I'm not on Twitter, but it's on my to-do list.
