Rahm Emanuel: House Health Care Vote Next Week

From RealClearPolitics:

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel tells NPR he expects a vote on health care in the House "next week."

Yeah, right.

Emanuel is desperately trying to stop the bleeding, so he throws that out there. He's attempting to shift the momentum. He'll say anything.

This is a sign that the White House is in big trouble on health care.

It's also a sign that Emanuel is probably mailing dead fish to those uncooperative Democrats.

"Right there on Page 16 is a provision making individual private medical insurance illegal."

I'm a little slow today. I'm looking at p.16:

"SEC. 102. PROTECTING THE CHOICE TO KEEP CURRENT COVERAGE."

In the section before that (p.15):

"(2) INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE.—The terms ‘‘individual health insurance coverage’’ and ‘‘group health insurance coverage’’ mean health insurance coverage offered in
the individual market or large or small group market, respectively, as defined in section 2791 of the
Public Health Service Act."

That specifically talks about private insurance.

Could you explain your interpretation?

Rahm has played the corrupt political game and made his millions. Now it's time for the peasants to learn their place. People better start paying attention. Fat chance.

Rahm and his ghoulish brother Zeke are extremely dangerous.

The elderly need to find out what's in the bill.
