Green Day's "American Idiot" is about to make its debut as a BROADWAY musical.
Last night, the band was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to plug their Broadway venture. They discussed the original album and its adaptation into a musical.

JIMMY FALLON: So you end up doing this and it was kind of a concept... Well, it is a concept record. And just, you go like, well this was... I mean, was it your idea, or all together, all three of you?
BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG: Well, it kind of... We started out with the song. We had the song 'American Idiot,' um, which was like, you know, it was like very political. And, uh, you know, just kind of being, feeling completely pissed off about with the way things were going in 2004 for eight years with the worst president we ever had.
No doubt, the reviews for this will be fantastic.
