Photo with Obama: $10,000

How much would you pay to have your picture taken with Obama?

It's an easy question for me to answer. NOTHING. I wouldn't pay a dime.

If you want a photo with Obama when he comes to Milwaukee in August, it'll cost you $10,000!

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Obama is appearing at a fund-raiser for Democratic gubernatorial candidate and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett. His campaign sent an e-mail to supporters on Thursday saying that getting a picture taken with the president can be done with a simple $10,000 donation.

Want a picture and name recognition?

That's going to take $14,800 in donations.

No location has been named yet for the Aug. 16 fund-raising lunch. Barrett or Obama supporters who want to get in on the cheap can buy a ticket now for a mere $250.

Obama also plans to hold an event that same day related to the economy.

Obama has the audacity to charge $10,000 for a picture and $14,800 for a pic and name recognition.

Lunch will cost you $250.

That's why they call it a fundraiser.

What's sick is that on the very day Obama will be raking in the dough for Barrett, he's going to be holding an event on the economy.

Let's face it. The economy sucks. Forget about recovery. Where's the hope?

So Obama will be addressing those touched by his horrible economy. He'll act as if he's feeling their pain on the same day that he's smiling for the camera with rich donors for $10,000 a pop.

He'll probably be yapping his usual class warfare crap while he hauls in mountains of cash. Obama will exploit others' misfortune to benefit himself and his political allies.

The worlds of the haves and have-nots will collide. And Obama will smile. Say "cheese," Obama!
