Feingold and Using Debate Content

Russ Feingold is really a maverick.

He refused to do what other candidates do.

Past candidates during these televised debates in Wisconsin have agreed not to use footage or images from the broadcasts in their campaigns.

From WisPolitics:

John Laabs, who moderated the debate for the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, announced before the debate began that candidates typically agree to refrain from using footage from the debate in political campaigns. Johnson agreed to the request, but Feingold’s campaign did not.

Ron Johnson agreed not to use the content.

Russ Feingold refused.

Not cool, Russ.

He should be embarrassed not to abide by the wishes of the hosts of the debate.

Obviously, for Feingold, this is war.
