Harry Reid: Ted Kennedy, Robert Byrd - Greatest LIVING Americans

Harry Reid was featured on "Five 4 Friday with David Brody."

Reid had an interesting response to this question: "Can you think of a greatest living American?"

The answer is NO. Reid could not think of a greatest living American.

HARRY REID: I'm glad I had the opportunity to know Ted Kennedy. Whether you agreed with him or not, what a life he led with his two brothers being assassinated, his other brother being killed in World War II. And Robert Byrd who just died. What a... he was in the Congress of the United States for more than 25 percent of the time that we have been a country. That's fairly remarkable.

Obviously, Ted Kennedy and Robert Byrd don't qualify as "living Americans."

That little technicality aside, it's interesting that Reid considers them the "greatest."

Both Kennedy and Byrd had chapters in their lives that disqualify them in the greatness category, namely Chappaquiddick and the KKK, respectively.

Harry Reid exhibits some serious mental lapses. It's time for him to retire.

Hopefully, voters in Nevada will give Reid some help.
