Joy Behar, Sharron Angle - $137,000

Joy Behar's disgraceful remarks about Sharron Angle on The View yesterday had a consequence I'm sure Behar did not intend.

Her terrible comments actually prompted people to donate $137,000 in just one day to Sharron Angle's campaign.

From Mark Hemingway, the Washington Examiner:

I just got off the phone with someone from Sharron Angle’s senate campaign in Nevada. They informed me they had a banner day fundraising, pulling in $137,000. Not coincidentally, today was also the day where The View co-host Joy Behar said of Angle on national television, “She’s going to hell, this bitch!”

“We had a major fundraising surge today. I can only imagine it was directly in response to Joy Behar’s comments,” said an Angle campaign spokesman.

All's well that ends well.

Thank you, Joy Behar, for helping Sharron Angle!

The U.S. Senate without Harry Reid would be so wonderful.
