I do not say this in a condescending way but:
If you spent as much time doing something good for everyone you know as you do blogging this stuff that less than 100 people read the world might be a better place.
If you spent as much time doing anything (gardening, playing with yo yos, exercising, painting) as you do blogging, you could be really good at something. I encourage you to find something that you're good at and just stick with it. You can improve our world!
I enjoy looking at this blog most every day and I appreciate the time and effort Mary puts into it. I doubt that you know, Eric, how many readers she has, nor do you know how much time she spends "playing with yo yos, exercising" etc. I know that if I spent as much time painting as I do reading Mary's blog, the world would not be improved one bit because I can't paint, and I'm guessing Mary can't either, but I don't know, and neither do you. If you don't like it, don't read it.
