Democrat Dick Durbin is a joke.
He has a problem with Bank of America.
Sen. Dick Durbin on Tuesday urged customers unhappy with Bank of America's new $5-a-month debit card fee to take their business elsewhere - calling the fee a golden opportunity for other banks "not as greedy" to drum up new business.
"I believe in something called competition," the Illinois Democrat said on a conference call with reporters.
Oh really?
Durbin believes in competition?
Durbin told Americans to "get the heck out of that bank."
Interesting, especially since Durbin was behind the "swipe fee" amendment. Durbin was responsible for the groundwork for the fees.
DICK DURBIN: Bank of America customers, vote with your feet. Get the heck out of that bank. Find yourself a bank or credit union that won't gouge you for $5 a month and still will give you a debit card that you can use every single day.
Very sleazy, Dick.
