Issa: Fast and Furious, Solyndra, and Holder

On FOX News Sunday yesterday, Chris Wallace interviewed Congressman Darrell Issa about Fast and Furious and the Solyndra scandal.

Issa said that he'll be issuing a new set of subpoenas this week to Attorney General Eric Holder.

Issa asserted that Holder's comments about Fast and Furious have been disingenuous. He said that the operation was "felony stupid." He wants Holder to come clean.

On Solyndra, Issa said that documents released on Friday show a pattern of investments by the Obama administration that are questionable. He said that Solyndra is a story of political interference.

Here's video of the interview:

Obama promised Americans change. He was going to usher in a new way of governing and unprecedented transparency.

Another promised unfulfilled.

At the hearings today, the implication was that DOE did not perform good due diligence. That was a totally erroneous assumption. This has nothing to do with good or bad due diligence. What this is about is that in a 2008 meeting: Lachlan Seward, Matt Rogers & Steve Spinner pointed to a piece of paper and, essentially, said: "these are our friends, they will get money. These are their competitors and our lobbyists competitors, they will not get money." All so-called due-diligence thereafter was purposely non-existant or steered towards those friends and against those competitors. I was there!DAna
