Meghan McCain was Jay Leno's guest on Wednesday's Tonight Show.

Leno likes Meghan. She's a rare breed - a good Republican. In the Leftist lexicon, that means not very conservative.

Meghan thinks Rick Santorum is a "moron." Jay likes that. She says that Santorum wants to ban birth control. That's a Leftist talking point, aka "not true."

Leno makes this absurd statement: "I don't question their motive. I question their judgment. You can't take something away from people once you've given it to them. We learned that with prohibition. You can't suddenly ban it."

Really, Jay?

We have endured tons of bans on things we have and like. Two words: light bulbs.

Meghan managed to get in a few shots at Sarah Palin. Of course.

She said she's a big proponent of gay marriage and calls it the civil rights issue of her generation.

Meghan thinks of herself as a Reagan Republican. She doesn't think he'd be very popular in the Republican party today.

Yeah, right.

JAY LENO: Do you think Reagan could get elected today?

MEGAN McCAIN: I think if Ronald Reagan were running today he would be called a dirty moderate, like me, unfortunately.
