Hari Trivedi for Governor

He's baaack!

The weekend before the 2010 election for Wisconsin's governor, I saw an odd commercial. Because it aired during Saturday Night Live, I initially thought it was a joke. It didn't look real, but it was.

Hariprasad Trivedi, a physician and professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin was running a write-in campaign for governor.

Hari Trivedi is running for the same office again.

This time, many more people saw his commercial. It ran before and after the SUPER BOWL - kind of a high profile airing compared to the ad time he brought for his 2010 candidacy.

Here's the ad:

Trivedi intends to run as an "independent candidate for governor of Wisconsin."

The ad is "Paid for by Hariprasad Trivedi Committee to Elect for Governor, Hariprasad Trivedi, Treasurer; Approved by Hariprasad Trivedi."

Here's Trivedi's website.

His biography is exactly the same one he used in his 2010 bid.

It's not really a "biography."

This guy must have money to burn.
