Cee Lo Green and Obama Fundraiser - F-BOMBS

Cee Lo Green went blue when he entertained the crowd at an Obama fundraiser last Friday in Atlanta.

From the New York Daily News:

The Gnarls Barkley singer dropped f-bombs and flipped off the crowd during a peformance of the R-rated version of his hit song “Forget You” at the Atlanta event on Friday.

Video clips from the event showed Green giving the crowd the middle finger during the song's opening bars, asking "Can I cuss?" and then shouting an exuberant "F- you!" into the mic.

"The Voice" host later tweeted that he made "a mistake" after a Twitter follower told him he "had no class."

He wasn't too broken up about it.

"All of you heard the song a thousand times so don't get all saint on me," Green quipped.

President Obama wasn't at the event when Green performed.

Here's a video clip:

The Daily News reports "Obama wasn't at the event when Green performed."

But--

President Obama speaks shortly after his performance.

During the 2008 campaign, Bill Cunningham used Obama's middle name, Hussein, at a John McCain rally. McCain wasn't present during Cunningham's remarks, but McCain condemned Cunningham after his half-hour speech for uttering Obama's name.

So, since Obama hasn't condemned Cee Lo Green's language at a fundraiser for his campaign, are we to believe Obama is OK with that sort of crassness at a public event attended by the president of the United States?

Yeah, we are.

Oh! Your delicate sensibilities. Besmirched, I tell you, beSMIRCHED! There, there. Just pull the fainting couch up a little closer, Dear.

You think it was appropriate?

Even Green admits it was "a mistake."
