Yesterday, during the Senate's hearing on Fast and Furious, Sen. John Cornyn called for Eric Holder to resign as Attorney General.
Here's video and the transcript:
SEN. JOHN CORNYN: You violated the public trust in my view, by failing and refusing to perform the duties of your office. So, Mr. Attorney General, it’s more with sorrow than regret than anger that I would say that you leave me no alternative but join those that call upon you to resign your office. Americans deserve an Attorney General that will be honest with them; they deserve an Attorney General who will uphold the basic standards of political independence and accountability. You’ve proven time and time again, sadly, that you’re unwilling to do so.
I agree.
